Confusing here too. The state is broken down to zones with varying seasons, but for most of the state it is as follows:Our bow season here runs from mid September till January. There was a muzzleloader season for a couple weeks in Sept. but too hot and buggy for me. There will be a 3 day "pre rut" antlerless season this weekend just to add to the confusion... might get out for that but it's supposed to rain.
Rifle season starts end of Nov. into early Dec..
Kansas also has some late antlerless seasons after the first of the year but that varies by zone.
Did I mention that it's confusing...?
Thanks.Nice bow..
Very nice. Thanks for posting.I shot this small 6 pointer about 3 weeks ago. Shot it with my new Merkel 160E double rifle in 8x57JRS. I have a mate coming over next week for a bit of hunting and on the 19th Oct we will hunt moose.View attachment 764638
Roe deer are neat. I always wanted to go hunt one but the cost and logistics put me off.
Absolutely....let's see all the 2017 hunting pictures. Can we include critters that fly in this thread as well?
Now i own my own hunting ground
Home sweet home, plus a view from the back of the house. I have area's of mature pine and quite a few plantations of spruce that are 4-5 mtr tall spruce plus a fair bit of birch.
