Yay ! The Terävä Jääkäripuukko is back in stock at Varusteleka

It feels like I've been waiting for this to come back in stock forever. I checked the website this morning and they were still out of stock. I checked it just now and they have 17 of them. So I ordered one.

Man I am so happy.

Buying knives and buying guns makes me so happy I just wish the happy feeling would last, but eventually it wears off

Here is a review, a little pretentious maybe, posing the question "Best Bushcraft Knife ?" But it is a fairly good review:

You might be able to purchase one second hand but Varusteleka is an online reseller direct to the public and they're the only ones distributing these knives AFAIK.

They're already sold out of the knife/sheath set, they sold out yesterday, so it took less than a day for them to sell out their stock. You can still purchase just the knife and a plastic cover for it, they have about 45 of the 4⅓" ( 110mm ) blades left and about 70 of the larger 5½" (140mm) blades left in carbon steel.

They're completely sold out of the stainless steel versions.

Oh ya, I didn't think about that, there won't be any more of these before Christmas, these are the last Terävä Jääkäripuukkos of the year.

I misspoke.

They now have another 60 or so of the 4⅓" carbon steel knives with sheath.
