Shoot RMR 115/124grain FMJ out of my 19 and they are more accurate than I am. Ive also shot thousands of Xtreme 115/124grain plated Bullets without issues. I hear good coated Bullets are a non issue but I’ve never used any.Looking for opinions (I know they are out there ). Just got a G19 gen4 MOS and debating whether to get a new barrel that I'd feel comfortable shooting my coated reloads or start reloading FMJ and use the Glock barrel.
In general, jacketed bullets produce greater accuracy with factory barrel (~1:10 twist rate) over plated/lead bullets. RMR FMJ and various plated bullets could be bought on sales for good prices. With plated bullets, I would recommend slightly larger sized bullets (.3555"-.356") for greater accuracy - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...re-sized-the-same.818806/page-2#post-10567453Looking for opinions ... Welcome to THR lots of great people here.
I don't own a Glock but the RMR 124gr FMJs shot well for me in a couple different 9mms.
