I did a quick search for the rifle and have a few questions and comments for ya.
Does this have the bottom bolt release? I'm not a fan of the BBR, makes it harder to find a replacement stock in my experience.
It doesn't look as if it has a threaded muzzle, if that's the case I would pass on it in 6.5 CM. The conventional wisdom is 6.5 CM is not hard recoiling, and it isn't, but it's not a cream puff. I run all my benchrest rifles with a brake, personal preference. Sure, it can be threaded, but that just adds cost.
I've found the lower priced rifles with Accu-triggers to be less inclined to adjust down to where I want them to be. I don't know if that's the nature of the beast or just the ones I've bought. A friend who bought one in 308 had nothing but trouble with his trigger assembly coming apart, he finally moved to a replacement trigger and is very happy with his rifle now.
All that said, I'm a Savage fan, I have many of their rifles, it seems hard or impossible to buy one that won't shoot real good. It's more a matter if the feature set you get from a $200 rifle, and the level of quality control Savage is going to put into each specimen is worth the savings.
The only other thing I'd add is if you want to buy this and from there build-your-own, consider barreled actions; buy just what you want and make it yours.
