Any Walther PPQ owners here?

I just picked up a Walther PPQ and I’m going to replace the sights with metal ones, preferably night sights. I’ve looked at the Trijicon HDs but I’ve read conflicting reports about POI being the same or different from the factory sights. Some people say the HDs give a combat holdover (like SIG) versus the factory POA/POI. Has anyone here installed the HDs on a PPQ and if so what POI are you guys seeing? As you can tell I’m looking hard at the HD sights (have them on other guns) but I’m open to suggestions on other sights.

I have a couple P99's a PPQ M1, and a PPQ M! 5" on the way. I have Trijicon Bright and Tough night sights on one P99 and Meprolight Tru Dots on the other and the PPQ. I find all to do best with 124 gr. ammo with a combat hold. I imagine that the HD night sights would be the same, though I don't have first hand experience with that sight system.

I've got 2 PPQ M1's, one of which has Trijicon HDs.

With my carry and practices loads (147s) it's virtually the same POI/POA. I've run this set up in a couple classes and it's done well. I now have 3 sets of HDs:

PPQ
PPS
HK P30L

Positively my favorite sight set-up after FOs. I would look at the version with the thinner FS.

So since heavier bullet weights are known to impact higher on the target, are you saying the 147 grain bullets hit at the top of the front sight post with HDs (center hold) versus the center of the dot (combat hold)? Most people are saying their HDs hit on target using a combat hold (and probably shooting lighter weight, lower hitting bullets like 115 gr) but I really prefer a center hold.

I’ve continued to do more research and it seems the drive the dot sight picture is what Walther intends on the PPQ and if the Trijicon HDs are the same then that answers the question for me.
