The year is winding down.
What gun did you shoot the most in 2018?
Why?
Pictures if you have them!

Here is mine.

My 870 Competition grade trapgun.
My friend started a high school trap team. It was hugely successful. I helped coach the shooting. In doing so, i probably shot around 1000 practice targets and only 300 ATA targets this year. I know thats not many at all, but i was coaching, not shooting. Great fun.
I shoot many different guns during the coarse of a year, but this one was probably shot more than the others.

Hi...
That is a tough question.
I shot quite a few hundred rounds shooting clay birds with my 12ga. Winchester 1400 autoloader.
I also shot about 1000 rounds through a half dozen .357Mag revolvers.
Well over a thousand rounds through several different .22LR firearms.
Probably 1000 rounds through my .45ACP 1911 carry guns.
At least another 1000 rounds through a multitude of other handguns in calibers from .40S&W through .44Mag.
Probably another 1000 rounds through various center-fire rifles from .223 through 7mm Mag.

Actually kind of a slow year. I meant to shoot a lot more but spending time getting acquainted with some new firearms and a long list of home improvement projects restricted my range time.
I hope to do much better next year.

I haven't counted but it would be a handgun. Most likely a Steyr S9 which I carry the most.
I also put quit a few rounds through a PPQ M1 which I recently bought. Shot my LC9 pro quite a bit, and carry it more often lately, I finally bought a nice holster for it. I don't carry my Hi Power but I shoot it a lot. Several thousand rounds out of these four this year.

Spent about 6 months looking for a new Micro 9mm for carry to replace the one I have had for years. Finally decided on the Nano and quickly put 2500 rds of mixed ammo through the gun. Bought in Mid Feb. had over 5,000 rds run through the gun at end of August. It will be interesting to see how many come end of December as the gun is so enjoyable to shoot.

Definitely my BHP. Speed six running a distant 2nd.

my CIA/Colt AR wins the long gun category, but my cetme has been closing the gap. I dont have any decent pics on hand, only have a flintstone flip-phone, and am kinda techno-tarded (or phobic, i guess)

Unfortunately I didn't get to shoot very much this year.
The one I put the most through was this one, a 4 5/8" Super Blackhawk. I put less than 200 rounds through it, and it was the most by a wide margin. I probably fired less than 400 rounds total this year. I'm hoping next year will be several times that.

This one has a different set of grips now, but this is the best photo of it.

Easy, my Crickett .22 and my PF-9. That little rifle is what I use to zip rats by the garbage can (using CB caps), squirrels and rabbits as needed, and is my 'Zen' gun when I need to relax and poke holes in paper. Since my KelTec is my EDC, it only makes sense it's the pistol I shoot the most.
I've done it this way for years now, only occasionally pulling out my G17 or P22 for a little variety.

My 2 current favorites .Ruger Redhawk 45/45 and a Rossi 45 carbine.Once I settled on a hand load that works good in both I’v fired more than a thousand rounds (munch more) though each .A typical target at the 50 meter range with either.at a 100 meters I can still keep all shots on the paper plate 0E1FE2FF-AFA5-4AA2-9E1C-BFA184C2C84B.jpeg 45035A45-CE6E-4796-8629-8F6E959DF606.jpeg image.jpg

Not because its my favorite but because its my porch gun for critters and I can hit with it. I've killed ground hogs at 30 yards (shot at him 5 times tho). Its the cheapest Ruger 22-45 I could find and I have $60 in the Bushnell TRS25. It is dead on accurate.

Smith & Wesson Model 41. That's the pistol I shoot in the bullseye league that I belong to. We practice once a week, and I shoot anywhere from 30 to 120 rounds in practice, so let's say an average of 75 per week. Knock off four weeks for missed practices, and that's 3,600 rounds in practice. Twenty matches a year, 30 rounds per match, that's another 600, so that's roughly 4,200 rounds per year through that pistol. I definitely shoot that pistol more than any other gun I own.
