It's been a bad year for me, back surgery on March 22, two trigger finger release surgery's on June 26 and I will have rotator cuff surgery on November 15 ( opening day of fire arm deer season ). My wife has also had a lot of medical problems this year, fortunately we don't have anything that may cause death.

So all my shooting has been killing pest around the house with my Browning A-Bolt .22LR loaded with CCI Quiets.

My 1975 870 TB. Began the year with the donor receiver as the original cracked some years back. Sent it to Remington in Sept and they put a new receiver on it. Averaged 95% in both summer leagues and took second in a shootoff for my clubs championship. Five fifties and a bunch of 25sthis summer. Easily over 200k through the barrel since new. Probably 2500 so far this year.

I did alot of gun selling and trading this year. Since aquiring my pistol permit last year I've been on a handgun binge. I was on a mission to find out what is right for me and I finally settled on revolvers. I enjoy shooting them more than anything else. I shot my gp100 more than any other gun I own this year . But after aquiring my first single action (.44 special)i have a new found love. Now i have a single six on the way and I'm confident that will be the champ next year. Also in the market for a new black hawk. Here's a pic of the gp in its current state.

In 1981 i shot the entire program at "the Grand" in Dayton. During that week i also shot a Ljutic Space Gun on the practice range.
Cool gun
Round button trigget iirc.
Thanks for the memory.
Btw, i think your space gun is the first one i ever saw in the wild. The only person that i ever saw shooting one was Al Ljutic.

Very cool you get THR Mentor of Month award.
No, not at all.
I enjoyed every minute. The kids were great. Not one unpleasant incident of any sort.
My son participated and "lettered" in the sport. He played football for two years and all he got was two concussions. Trapshooting is the safest high school sport there is.
....sorry, im drifting my own thread.

I have been shooting this antique in club Small bore prone matches

And this one in the regionals, State Championships, etc.

I have fired about 3500 rounds this year in competition, without going through my data books, I don't know which has the greatest round count, they should be very close.

I know this Model 46 has the most rounds down range in Bullseye Matches.

If we are ever in the same zip code you are welcome to shoot it all day.

Not near as much as I'd have liked to, as April thru June I had been hospitalized with congestive heart failure, however since that time the firearm I've shot mostly is a 17HMR which I've already photographed on this forum. BTW after June, it is just too dang hot to go out into the desert and shoot. However, I did take a trip up into UP Michigan, and did a bunch of shooting.
