As expressed by moderator GEM, here are partial listing of THR forum rules of conduct -
https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?pages/code-of-conduct/
"1. All topics and posts must be related to firearms or 'Right to Keep and Bear Arms' (RKBA) issues.
4. Spamming, trolling, flaming, and personal attacks are prohibited. You can disagree with other members, even vehemently, but it must be done in a well-mannered form. Attack the argument, not the arguer.
We have learned from bitter experience that discussions of politics, abortion, religion, and sexual orientation often degenerate into less-than-polite arguments or claims that 'my God is better than your God'. For this reason, we do not discuss such subjects on THR.
The High Road is private property and requests that members adhere to all forum policies. It is a contract agreed to by all who become members of The High Road. Those who break forum rules cannot invoke censorship or freedom of speech - a contract broken is a contract broken. If you do not like the rules of conduct or the acceptable topics, seek out a new venue to frequent or start your own board."
So let's get back to the original intent of this thread:
After getting frustrated by decades of inaccurate dissemination of firearms related information by anti-gun crowd, I decided to do "something" by posting "re-training" information.
Never know, information posted on this thread could convert some voters to pro-gun.
Yes, for decades the anti-gun crowd has spread not entirely accurate information regarding firearms. Well, we don't have to keep taking it sitting down. There are many pro-gun people really frustrated by passage of recent gun control laws and want to "Do Something".
We can counter by spreading accurate information regarding firearms. We can start educating firearm owners to better engage potential future firearm owners (The younger VOTING generation of Millennials in their 30s and Generation Z in their 20s and teens). We may even engage anti-gun people and when presented with factual accurate information, they may change their mind and become pro-gun.
I have been engaging people about need for gun ownership all of my life. I grew up and lived in high crime cities overran by gang violence, rape, robbery and murder. When federal judge ruled overcrowding in California prisons and released inmates to communities, even the anti-gun crowd got affected and many of them became gun owners and some asked me to train them. And I provided (even using my own ammo) defensive point shooting every time as outlined here -

Things HAVE changed.
But one thing has not, which is the ultimate goal of the anti-gun crowd - GUN BAN.
So we must find allegiance with every other gun owner who support the Second Amendment and join forces to fight back against the anti-gun crowd and law makers backed by them.
TOGETHER, WE MUST VOTE OUT ANTI-GUN LAW MAKERS AND VOTE IN PRO-GUN LAW MAKERS!
We are at war fighting for our rights to keep and bear arms.
For those who believe things are too late, have hope. Just yesterday, a federal judge ruled in favor of normal/standard capacity magazines of more than 10 rounds for California -

Things CAN change.
And growing number of people from all races, parties, gender, sexual preference, socio-economic classes, religions, etc. are becoming gun owners EVERYDAY!
If people are becoming gun owners everyday, then can also become supporters of the Second Amendment and this is were we come in, to properly educate and train them.
And why I started this thread.
So, let's keep our discussion focused on proper education and training of gun owners and future gun owners.
This is why I support "Black Guns Matter" movement as they work to increase presence in all 50 states. Their goal is to provide firearms safety and training to urban America in support of the Second Amendment. If you haven't, watch this video and consider supporting their (our) cause. Thank you and Godspeed!
