I have been looking forward to shooting the Ruger New Vaquero I bought nearly a month ago...as soon as local ranges open.
Which gun are you going to pull the trigger on first when you are allowed to go to the range again?
My Rossi92 has seen a come back as my truck gun since I've been relegated to reviewing my paycheck for nothing.
The one day I didn't have it, a coyote ran across the road about 25 yards in front of me and into my neighbors field.
I have a Beretta Neos. The iron sights were pitiful. The grip took some getting used to. But it shoots so well with a dot that I kept it.I usually start a range session with a 22lr so probably either my Single Six or latest acquisition a Beretta Neos with red dot I am enjoying. Probably followed with Service Six (my avatar) with 38 Special reloads.
If you had the standard stock, you could shoot once right handed and once left handed and have your chiropractic adjustment doneMy mosin, need to loosen all my joints up,

Great idea, I have shot this stock left handed and I can do it...but I'll have to take the scope off, its a "right eyed" only scope left eye is all blurry looking thru itIf you had the standard stock, you could shoot once right handed and once left handed and have your chiropractic adjustment done
How is the 45 shield? I had one in 40 s&w that was a handful to shoot until I put a baby Hogue slip on grip on it.My Shields. One in 9mm (carry gun) and one in .45 (future carry gun).
Backyard range here also, so never stopped. This weekend I tested a new 3Gun load and sighted in my match AR. Then I played with it at 200 & 300 on steel. Also practiced rifle on SAT and shot pistols with my son yesterday. Next load testing project is going o be testing a batch of HORN 62grn BTHPs which appear to be a Midsouth exclusive. On sale their comparable to HORN 62 FMJ in price, so IF I can squeeze a couple more .1's out of them, it may be worth it.
I NEED to start practicing in anticipation of matches starting up.....
I hope the shoot better than the 62 gr full jacket! They shoot patterns, not groups!
It's nice. The Shields seem to handle recoil very well. How is the 45 shield? I had one in 40 s&w that was a handful to shoot until I put a baby Hogue slip on grip on it.
That's good. The shield is too narrow for my hands without the added rubber. So it rotated in my hands when I shot it.It's nice. The Shields seem to handle recoil very well.
