Drums are hard to design to work properly, expensive to make, and quite large. Sticks are more reliable, easier and cheap to make, and can carry a large of them.Not sure why they haven't come out with a drum for hi point carbine's. They would make a killing!

It's a common practice to use the factory mag to maintain the concealability and also carry a larger capacity mag as a spare/backup just in case the fan is on high.
