Im bored on nightshift and want to hear your guy's and gal's ideas for a true no limit 1911 build. The wilder the better and more than 1 is definitely encouraged.
1. 5.7x28 custom for carry 4 inch barrel (5 total with built in compensator.)
Tritium night sights
Single stack
Entire gun slimmed way down for 5.7 in a single stack
Monolith slab sides and dust cover (I love the look, love the weight)
30 lpi checkering on basically every surface on the lower possible.
Top of the slide wouldn't be rounded off, just a 45 degree cut on each side giving it an ultra sleek look
Full length guide rod
Completely blacked out except for some very high figure slim flame maple grips. Flat short trigger.
2. A 1911 built around distance shooting. A 10mm necked down to 224 but chambered to accept long 80gr bullets. (Think 224 boz but for heavy bullets) Single stack
6 inch barrel (7 total with built in compensator)
Gold bead front sight, adjustable target rear sight
Monolith slide /dust cover.
All the same fixings as #1 for the slide / trigger design.
3. A GI version in 10mm
Let's hear everyone elses ideas.
