Grizzly Custom etch on dust cover
Well, my first thought is, if you want it to say Grizzly Custom on it, I'd get Grizzly Custom to build it.

I think they might take exception to someone else using their trademarked name on a fake.

BTW: Your link don't work!

Also BTW:
If I was going to spend anywhere near that much money, I'd just buy an Ed Brown pistol and be done with it.

If you want a custom 1911 shoot Jeremy an email or PM him here.

Email: Reid Pistolsmithing, LLC.

THR user name: Jeremy Reid

He's studied with the best, cuts no corners, has great connections and it will look great while being dependable. Can't say on the bear logo but you can always ask, Trade Marks is Trade Marked after all.

You're going to deny yourself the fun of doing it yourself? Where's your sense of adventure? Other than the bluing, checkering, and milling for sights, that's all DIY-able stuff-- but you might want a copy of the Kuhnhausen manual.

Dan Wesson will make what I want :D
You waited 5+ years to reply to your own thread and haven't bought the gun yet? Guess you need to hurry up and call Dan Wesson, though I've not heard anything about them doing that kind of custom work.

geeze.. resurrecting a thread thats been dead 5 years, took you a while to figure out what you wanted
