I bought a used .22cal from a friend about a month ago. Not sure how old it is but he thinks it's well over a decade. Have taken it out twice now and once I got the hold right it is pretty accurate and a lot of fun to shoot.
Here is the target from range trip 2. The 10 meter shots were off of a front bag. 50ft was standing and 60ft was off the front bag again.
Will be trying this out on squirrels next trip up north.

48 is a heavy air rifle, built like a tank, I have a Chinese copy B21 in 177, sweet adjustable trigger, shoots very well but it is heavy, even to bring it out from the basement gun rack to the back yard, I take it out only for serious shooting. :) The magnum power double recoil broke a scope many years ago.

Diana 48 is a classic. Beautiful rifle for sure. I have the Diana Mdl 34 which I had custom tuned and also a Diana mode 460 magnum Under lever 22.cal.I actually had that gun detuned. Tuned down for easier cocking and smoother shooting. Felt like I was jacking up a house when shooting it. But man could that gun send a pellet down range.

Congrats on the Diana. You got a good one!

I was talking to one of my brothers about this and neither of us can remember a time when we didn't have a BB or pellet gun. That's from when we were kids till now.
