Can't get out early, probably not until afternoon. Too much life happening.

Burrowed a truck to be able to go, can't trust mine front end issues. Have to load the bed, wait for a delivery, then bring in a new fridge, gift for wife from her younger kids, and try and find a limit switch for my furnace.

We got to our spot at 6:40, at 6;45 we seen one deer in some thick stuff.
We came back at 11;30 had a large breakfast and went back out until 4:45. Didn't see anything.
Tomorrow's another day.

Never made it out, by the time I was finished with all of the things I needed to do it was 3:00 too late to drive find a decent spot it would have been dark. I did see a few along the highway though all drt.

Don't know maybe corona scared the deer. Can't leave the thicket without a mask.

There wasn"t as many gun shot as previous years.
The guy my brother rents from has 15 acres, his son shot a buck yesterday.
I am heading back out in the woods in a couple of minutes.

The guy across the street from my oldest son shot a nice 8 pnt, his brother got an 8 pnt and his son got an 8 pnt all from different properties around ten miles apart.

See what today brings.

There was one shot a little east of were I stand not to far way, and another shot off in the distance way out there in the other direction.

My oldest son just shot a buck, i will post a picture as soon as he sends it to me.

He said atleast a 6pnt, he has to get out of his tree stand and get down to it.

I heard a few shots not far from my spot. Sounded like they were sighting in guns. Weird I got this spike about 12:30. After my shot the woods light up sounded like a shooting match at the range.

Shot him about 60 yds 7mm08 rem 700 sps, new Burris ff2, 139 hornandy interlock spbt 49.8 gr h4350. Lung shot looks like it broke a rib or 2 from back bone on exit. He flopped a little bit but basically drt.

We went to Norwich at Fred's in for Sunday brunch.
We seen two does, then a big doe with two young ones from this year, the a big doe and a yearling then we seen a small deer from this last spring. Could of shot it but I would rather get a larger deer..
