Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

My first actual "gun" blueing product: Super Blue, by Birchwood Casey (via E-Bay: sold out in most other places).
Watched a few Youtube videos describing preparation and application. Mostly for very tiny specks of missing blueing.

Might try the entire, very old Savage .22 barrel?

Just stopped by my local Walmart for some groceries. Went by the gun case. Plenty of CCI Mini-Mags, in both .22 LR and WMR. Also various rifle ammo (.308, 222, others... I can't see well) and Federal 12 gauge. Signs up limiting 2 box purchase. Guy behind the counter said someone tried to buy it all today. I bought my limit in Mini-Mags to give to my friend who has none. Oh... by saying I'm giving to a friend, I'm not trying to be self-righteous or anything. He's got 3 boys who like to shoot and I have plenty.

I bought a Marlin Model 25MN (.22 Magnum BA rifle) in an auction a year or so ago. The magazines are very hard to find unless you're willing to be gouged on eBay. I ran across new 15 round mags at Numrich's for a decent price. Just received it yesterday.

Small bedside gun safe that will double as a nightstand. Should hold the Shockwave, PS90 and Beretta Storm carbine and keep them secure and handy. Rather than just handy and unsecure as they are now. In a couple of months, I may get another for the other end of the home for use as an end-table in the family room.

What brand and model did you get?

I just got a new Tandemkross Game Changer Pro compensator for my S&W 622. It's a heavy little bugger! I have no idea how much it will effect muzzle jump. Also, I question whether any effect will be more due to the porting or the added weight up front. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Was able to get a couple new toys over the last few days. While filling out paperwork and talking to the sales guy I mentioned I was looking for SPPs to reload with. He went in the back and came out with a box of 1000. $36. Said they sometimes keep ammo/Primers behind the counter for new gun sales only.

Nice to be able to get a couple boxes of ammo or primers with your new toy.

After reading post in reloading section, ordered Lee bulge buster from Amazon and required Lee FCD for .45 ACP. Then found I had the die in top of reloading tool box. Don’t remember ordering it but Midway order history says I did.

Hi...
Managed to acquire 400 large pistol primers on Tuesday.
Shop limits 200 per day per customer per type, so I was able to get 200 each Match large pistol and Match Magnum large pistol.
Only shop that had any primers of the five local shops that sell reloading supplies.

I am going to have to begin dipping into my
emergency reserve if these shortages don't soon ease up. Either that or drastically cut back on how many rounds my son and I shoot.
We have been shooting about 2000 rounds per month the last couple of years but to continue at that rate without being able to replenish my inventory will see us running out of primers sometime this summer unless supplies become more available.

Magazines that hold over 10 rds. If anyone wants to partake in an investment opportunity in case AWB2021 happens, AR, AK, Glock, and Beretta 92 mags are all going to be very highly valued in the future. I can easily see a 1000% profit reselling them in a few years.

Heh. What haven't I ordered lately!

A custom mold in two different weights of .327 from Accurate. Thirty cal gas checks. Sizing dies and bushings, Magazines, lots of magazines. A holster. Hornady XTP bullets in 327. And a leather shotgun buttstock shell holder in 20ga that I had to order all the way from Ukraine to get the type I wanted.

The holster shipped all the way from north Georgia (our state, not the country) two days before the shotgun shell holder shipped from Ukraine in Eastern Europe.

They arrived together here in North Florida yesterday.

Just before Christmas I bought a Kimber K6s, shipped "USPS Overnight" it took a week from the time USPS received it.
16 days ago a holster that just arrived yesterday and a week ago I bought factory Kimber wood grips, and shipped priority mail they are supposed to be here in another 2 days, if the post office doesn't have more employees come down with the pandemic ...
Thank goodness I already have a couple boxes of ammo because I cant find any locally anywhere!

I stumbled on a cache of 12 round SIG P-229 .40/.357 mags (these are nice if you add a +2 pad) today at silly prices and it was all I could do to restrain myself from buying them all so I only bought one. I'll sleep on getting the others.
