What is the last gun that you bought?

Are these two guns really that different? Seems to me the efficient decision would have been to buy two of the same gun so you can consolidate magazines.

But then again, your money and your call. Just curious what caused you guys to go this route. Not trying to second guess your opinions, just understand them. I agree they are both excellent pistols.
They're a little different internally as well as their ergonomics. I've read weeks of reviews comparing the two. My hands are both pretty much wrecked(especially thumbs) so the paddle releases that both offer are important to me. No interest in conceal carry. We have two indoor ranges close to us, plus we're able to shoot at home at 100 ft. I haven't used my HK yet and I won't till Wife gets her pistol. We may very well end up with two of the same models, that's why I'm holding off using mine. Back before the "Plague," we could find pistols at gun shops and compare them; those days are over for a while. Both will be for HD and range use.

That is one of the nicest RARs I've seen, well done!

Hey thanks. Not one of my builds tho. I was in the market for one and seen it in their rack and like what happens to all us gun nuts from time to time, the ole "Oh man,, I've got to have that!" kicks in. I stood there for a minute and crunched the numbers......yup, it was worth my hard earned. They did a good job on it.
Pretty good shooter for what it is to boot

Picked up my Ruger 10/22 carbine w/factory-mounted Viridian® EON 3-9x40 scope from the LGS today. Looking forward to some plinking and varmint hunting with it.

An LCP ll. I carried it for a while. Loved how it fit into the hip pocket of my Levi’s. My youngest son gave it a try at our range one afternoon and I was so by impressed with his performance with it I just signed it over to him:) I’ve since retired and live on an island that has as close to zero crime as it gets so I feel no need to carry anymore. When we are on the mainland I carry my 642.

New guy here, on Christmas eve saw this on a local for sale ad but thought it was a scammer due to the price. Made the call and it turned out to be legit.

Last year......Rossi Model 92 in .357 mag to pair with my old Ruger SP101.

Wife saw me comment on a S&W Facebook ad. A day later said, I don’t know what to get you for Christmas. Why don’t you buy the gun you commented on!!! I’d been thinking about it off and on over the past three years. One week later and one gunbroker win, I had it. Used but with only 50rds through it. S&W 686 4”

Think wifey will let you handle it?

How do you like the Skinner sight? I just bought one for my Rossi but haven’t installed it yet. Beautiful pair of guns......

Thanks!
I really like those Skinner peep sights. I’ve got one on my Henry Golden Boy .22 as well. Very quick sight picture, and works perfectly with the stock front sight.

Interestingly, the last gun I bought brand new wasn't for me. It was something my grand daughter wanted. So I bought her a Charter Arms Chic Lady, DAO, .38 revolver that comes in a make up case!!!!!

We go to the gun club together and practice. I take my Colt Detective Special, and she takes the Lady. .38 is so hard to find, not sure we'll be able to practice much more. I'm using up my stash.

I taught her to shoot when she was really little, and I take all the grands to the indoor and outdoor ranges around here for shooting outings.

Farm store going out of business CVA Wolf. $140. Going to do it all old style. Real black, lead bullets, tallow lube, metallic sights. See if it can stay with my Douglass barreled flintlock I made in 1976.
