Are these any good? Midway has them at a birthday discount for $75. Anybody have pros or cons they'd like to share? I still have a couple more days on my discount.
they work great! I shot my Caldwell 3 times and it was still working
then I returned it back to Amazon... “Defective”Leading me, 3-1.
It’s all hollow inside, 2 sensors and a watch display. You going to chrono rifle or pistol? They also have a Competition Electronics ProChrono LTD for $92. Of the two, which would be the best for the money? I’m all about inexpensive, but if inexpensive means “doesn’t work” then I’m just wasting time and money.
Mainly pistol. Maybe some pistol caliber carbine/rifle.It’s all hollow inside, 2 sensors and a watch display. You going to chrono rifle or pistol?
if rifle, I suggest the magnetospeed, about $155 on sale
yeah... just get the cheap one! And don’t shoot it.Mainly pistol. Maybe some pistol caliber carbine/rifle.
nice! Bullet hole don’t stop chonos!I had one. It worked okay but was a little light sensitive. This one was found in the trash at the range with a bullet through it. I took it home, opened it, found a wire had been shot clean thru, fixed it, and used it for a while. Ended up giving it to a friend because I already had a Crony.
Now I want a Labradar

it’s all about shot placement! lolThat's a pretty good testimony. My Shooting Chrony was dead after I hit it once.
Oh thank god. I thought I was the only one that ever grazed or shot their chrono.they work great! I shot my Caldwell 3 times and it was still working
it’s like riding a motorcycle... it’s not “if”Oh thank god. I thought I was the only one that ever grazed or shot their chrono.
It's not Bluetooth? My Caldwell Chrony2 transfers data to a free Caldwell app on my phone.
I have spotty wifi here, worse outside. Never had a problem here at the house. I do have concerns at my remote rifle range. I’m no tech guy so maybe they speak to each other with no wifi/data?
It's not Bluetooth?
the phone cord works great! hard to shoot itWell, I ordered the Caldwell chronograph today. Here’s hoping that I have a good experience with it. For the price, it was hard to pass up. If the phone hookup works, that will be a plus, but it’s not like I’m going to be doing strings of 50 or 100 shots. I mainly just want one to give me a good measure of 5-10 rounds; enough to tell me what my loads are doing in my guns.
