Not a discussion about the gun (there have been many)
Yes, I want one and will buy one. I carry the version 2 everyday.

Just a speculation on how low the price will go? It has dropped at least $20 already.

Lowest I have seen so far online is $360 plus shipping and of course FFL transfer fee on my end.

Were do folks think it will bottom out?

I think that depends on if and when other manufacturers release their double stack pocket 380's. Right now Ruger is the only game in town, if Springfield, S&W et al get into the market, I would think Ruger will tend to continue placing themselves in the low cost/high value price point.

I’m gonna wait a year and hope to snag for under 300 new or I’ll grab a used one off Armslist. If needed now I think today’s price of sub 400 is good but I already have a Hellcat so don’t really need

I think if I find a $325 or so I will take the plunge. Heck some dealers around here still have MSRP plus tax! They are nuts!
Only thing about Ruger is they only include one mag, which is how the keep prices a bit lower,
Only reason I would like the new version is the front sight, not to concerned with a few more rounds.

I bought one over the counter for $359 plus sales tax, $381 all in.

I see it being available for $299 (plus tax, BG, etc.) by the end of the year, assuming no changes in the current political climate.

That's probably where it would have been had it been introduced two years ago.

They should come down. Looks like a good pistol. I will try to rent one at the range and then makeup my mind on if I want to buy.

I chuckle at all the people trying to sell their LCP, P3AT, 738, etc….now for 300-350 but maybe there’s people out there willing to buy. Heck and if can get that much and then buy the max why not

Yeah, my LCPII is almost at throw away value now. Pissed that I bought it a couple months before they announced the Max. I like it and added a LaserMax laser, but still no real resale value. Best would be use the laser on the Max if it fits(looks like it would) and glove box the II.

Hang on to it. As I was watching a review I was thinking that there will be times for me where the little bit of extra grip length will make the difference in printing. Also the extra width of the spare magazines may print a little with certain clothing I wear.

My LCP will still have role, although a much smaller (no pun intended) one.
