Nah dude, don't learn with a real one. Get a weighted fake from Amazon, if you drop it and your iron gets heavily damaged, you're out either 400$ or whatever repairs cost.SA is safe to spin, especially empty. And I already dropped it twice. I’ll buy a few more SA , they just feel like a Mans gun! I’l eventually get every year that won the west. I love collecting!
thank! you got one that you like?Nah dude, don't learn with a real one. Get a weighted fake from Amazon, if you drop it and your iron gets heavily damaged, you're out either 400$ or whatever repairs cost.
I’ve gotta disagree with this. Do what you wish with your property, but guns are not toys and shouldn’t be treated as such.SA is safe to spin, especially empty.
thanks for your concern, but I’m a grown man.I’ve gotta disagree with this. Do what you wish with your property, but guns are not toys and shouldn’t be treated as such.
As I mentioned previously, do as you please. That said, let’s not pretend that spinning a gun on your finger is a smart idea.thanks for your concern, but I’m a grown man.

it’s all good! have a nice dayA number of your posts on this thread don't sound like they are coming from a "grown man". Perhaps that's why you catching some flack.

Yeah, and he's got some serious wear lines on the cylinder to show why: practice, practice, practice.I LIKE it! Wow that guys fast!
I just broke the bolt on my gun from slip hammering, wish they made stronger bolts fir Uberti 1873 Cattlemen. Luckily the bolt is only $20 of Taylors and $23 on VTI. I’ll buy more bolts.Yeah, and he's got some serious wear lines on the cylinder to show why: practice, practice, practice.
let’s stop talking about spinning, it seems to hit a nerve and is not safe for THR community guidance. My bomb cross draw holster cam in! Looks great, can’t wait to get the broken parts in to test it out. I really think I can put a belt look on it and the cross draw holster can double as a IWB Cross Draw. The main problem with spinning a single action, from what I can tell, is telling folks online you do so.
I hear tell billy the kid did so, makes you wonder if anyone admonished him for it.
Stuff breaking is generally an indicator that YOU SHOULD NOT BE DOING THAT.I just broke the bolt on my gun from slip hammering, wish they made stronger bolts fir Uberti 1873 Cattlemen. Luckily the bolt is only $20 of Taylors and $23 on VTI. I’ll buy more bolts.
I did do the arm roll thing were you 1/2 click the hammer, open the gate, and roll the cylinder on your arm to check the gun.The main problem with spinning a single action, from what I can tell, is telling folks online you do so.

Looks like OWB to me.Great Holster! fits perfectly and draws like butter! but they send me the wrong color and it’s made in South Africa not Merica!
It’s that kidda week for me, need a break!!!

I’m going to rig it to IWB, they don’t make a crossdraw IWB in molded letterLooks like OWB to me.
Last night when I got ready to change pants, I tried the sourdough holster in crossdraw a few minutes. It rides high, is comfortable, but weird. Butt forward canted wouldnt conceal well though. Least not for this feller.
I’m going to try the cross draw & strong side combo. if that doesn’t work, I’ll put a gun on each hip. I write with my left hand but do everything with my right hand, so left hand shooting is not a problem. I also fish with my a left hand reelMy problem with crossdraw is that my thumb does not fall readily on the hammer spur and my grip is not as natural feeling to me. Maybe years of Single Action use has formed my hand, but my hand just naturally curls around the gun butt, finger to trigger, and thumb on the hammer spur.
