Can anyone suggest a good quality belt holster for a S&W M66 4"? I already have an IWB SOB and IWB strong side holster for it.

I like high ride open top holsters. I need to be able to wear it with an untucked tshirt during warm weather in Florida.

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Carlos

P.S.
Don't remember seeing a thread on this already.

Bianchi Shadow II

Carlos,
I have the same revolver and use a Bianchi Shadow II. I think that its the model 7. It does have a thumb break however it fits the S&W model 66 with a 4" barrel like a glove. I think that bianchi does have the same holster without a thumb break.

I found an open top Don Hume IWB to be too tight to use. When I drew the firearm, the holster tried to come out too.

I've been eyeing a Versa Max 2 from Milt Sparks, but the price tag is detering me so far. No doubt that Milt Sparks makes a quality product, just allocating funds elsewhere right now.

Good luck.

Here's another nice option, if you like high ride IWB:

I have one for my 44 mag Mountain Gun, and the CABO holster carries the N-frame very well. The cylinder rides above the belt, thus maximizing comfort and concealment (the grip rides higher, so access might be a tad slower than some other holsters). I'd think the K and L frames would carry even better in one of these. Lane Raab of CABO is topnotch to do business with (if in stock, you'll have the holster inside of one week!).

Thank you all for the replies. I'll start checking them out. I, too, don't want to go bancrupt with a holster however, I do understand quality.
