ultradot on a revolver 25 mm vs 30mm

i am planning on putting an ultradot 25mm gen2 with 2 moa dot on my ruger super redhawk. i didn't know you could put a 30mm matchdot as well till i saw one of our forum member's pic but this would entail buying extra rings. does anyone have both 25 mm and 30 mm ultradot and is the 25 mm at a significant disadvantage?

i do have a 30 mm matchdot on my victory 22 and although the other reticles are interesting i just use the 2 moa dot all the time.

is it a big preference of one over the other. considering the size vs the field of view?

Not huge. I do like the mini tube style red dots on a lot of guns too and those are a good bit smaller than the one inchers. I guess if it's gonna be the size of an UltraDot, then why not go with the 30mm.

if not much then i may stick with the 1 inch so i don't have to buy new rings as the SRH comes with 1 inch rings.
