finally got to shoot my victory 22 after putting on the i fluted comped barrel and an ultradot matchdot 2.

first impression it makes for a heavy gun with the red dot mounted. with such a large offset I'm more careful about accidentally canting the gun.

with the polarizing filter, it sometimes gets too dark even after rotating the lens all the way around unless you partially loosen the lens where it mounts on to the red dot. not a big deal and i guess you could always shoot it without the polarized filter

used the 2 moa dot for sighting in but used the 4 moa dot most of the time.

don't know how much the comp helped, after all its only a 22 but the comp was dark with powder at the end of the session.

accuracy wise, the best group with cci minmags while sighting it in at 25 yrds rested with 2 moa dot was slightly more than an inch not subinch groups that other people get but of course thats more of me rather than the gun.

shot 4 inch gong at 25 yrds and 6 inch at 50 yrds but targets kept jumping off the hooks(hooks were too small) so also used a 10 inch bullseye gong with 3 inch cutout at 25. in the video if you see the 10 inch gong slightly change shape that's the 3 inch cutout flipping up.

below is a video putting on the barrel(went too long) but last few minutes is me shooting the gun. unfortunately small targets are not too videogenic with a gopro even if zoomed during editing.

one plus. i aim the same at 25 yrds vs 50 yrds with the red dot . thought I'd have to aim lower
