I really wasn’t intending on building another AR but on a whim I had to buy the “LETSGO-15” stripped lower from PSA. Naturally, this lead to the need to decide on and acquire all the other Lego parts to complete the build. I figured I would eventually buy an inexpensive upper from PSA but while I was at the LGS perusing anything and everything, I happened to be looking at a complete Del-Ton upper when the owner walked through and dropped the price by over $100. So, I had to take it of course!
Next up, I was sucked in by an email ad for a special edition Rise Armament 3.5lb drop in trigger for $99.
Also got sucked in by another ad for a Sig Sauer Tango MSR 1-6x24 Tactical scope.
Finally, last weekend I went to another LGS called North Sound Firearms and purchased most everything else. That is a great shop and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a small, friendly shop with lots of awesome stuff and a great supply of gun build parts. I purchased a Wilson Combat small parts AR kit (which kinda sucked) and an Aero Precision receiver extension kit as well as Magpul stock and rubberized grip. To top it off I bought a Ruger radial muzzle brake, which I really like on my RUGER AR-556 MPR. And, I also recently added BCM rail covers which are awesome, as was the buying experience from BCM. I just ordered more for some other guns.
Anyway, really looking forward to finally shooting it if the weather and time cooperate at some point. This is only my second build but it is a very addictive process and I see more in my future! And some more upgrades on this gun as well.
