My Dillion powder drop on my SBD is so good!

should have gotten a dillion @EricBu

There was a quote "buying cheap is expensive" - I guess this is the same a "buy once, cry once".....

LOL! Buying expensive isn’t cheap either.

I am glad I went with my Dillon 550C, but every caliber costs a LOT more if I make it “easy” and, in addition to caliber conversion and dies, I also buy a separate tool head and powder die.

And that isn’t even considering a separate powder measure for pistols and rifles….

The Lee progressive is a brass processor. If you insist on making loaded ammo with it at least feed it primed brass.
to make the Lee Pro, 1/2 way functional. I have to Size & Prime & M expander the case separately

it might be good for pistol but not so hot for rifle

The Mark 7 Mechanical Powder measure is excellent. I've run it on a Dillon 750 and a Hornady LNL AP. The Mechanical one might not be as consistent as the Digital one, but it's also less than half the cost

Both Hornady and RCBS market a case activated powder drop system that can be used on any press with 7/8-14 threads.

Hornady's is called the "Case activated powder drop", RCBS's probably has a similar name.

Both are almost identical and both will work with either the Hornady L-N-L powder measure or the RCBS Uniflow powder measure.

Also, you will need a variety of sleeves such as this one to mate the powder measure system to the cartridge that you are loading. There are some like this one and some that have a section that fits inside the case and bells the mouth of the case at the same time.

The Redding powder measures can be modified to work with these case activated systems but they require modification to the powder measure. I have a Redding 10-X that I use for loading most handgun cartridges on my progressive presses.

I like anything with the name Mark!

But without even looking… I bet the Mark 7 powder drop is $500!

Lol, it's ok. You can sell all the Lee stuff on FB market place for more than you paid for it, then get yourself a Dillon
I’m not! I’m going to convert it into a Progressive Margarita machine!

I’ve been using the RCBS Uniflow with great success !
