Are there any reliable online gun retailers you’ve been using? Years ago, Buds was reliable, easy, and competitive but I haven’t used them in years.

I go to Midway for most everything ... except guns. I had a terrible experience with a defective rifle bought through Midway. The importer was dragging their feet, blah blah. So I asked Midway to intervene. Nope. All gun sales are final, not their problem, deal with the importer/manufacturer.
I do like Sportsman's Warehouse (different, I believe, from Sportsman's Outdoor) **if** there's a store close to you. Order online, deliver to local store no shipping charge, no transfer fee, just the NICS. Easy inspection as well. My closest is 120 miles each way. That's a serious commitment if the NICS takes several hours or even days, though.

-jb, only 2 experiences ;)

I've had good experience with these vendors for years:

Accuracy Systems
Anacortes Gun Shop
Blue Collar Reloading
Brownells
Buds
Grice Gun Shop
Lanbo's Armory
Midsouth shooters supply
Midway USA*
Natchez Shooters Supplies
Numrich Gun Parts Corporation
Robertson Trading Post
Smokin' Guns
SWFA
UniqueTek
Vizards Guns & Ammo

* I've had a love/hate relationship with Midway USA. Shipping is fast and for the most part things go off without a hitch. But if something goes wrong... LOOK OUT! Midway CS has been down right nasty at times. They're the big man on campus, and they know it.

I default to Brownells.
Then I shop around and Midawy sometimes has better deals
If it is reloading components then usually Natchez, Grafs, or Midsouth.
Black powder supplies both modern and traditional is pretty much always Grafs anymore.

I also use Wholesale Hunter, Numrich, Midwest Gun Works, Dixie Gun Works, Track of the Wolf,

The real secret is to just never, ever use Optics Planet.

I guess I should also mention, the above are for forearms accessories only. I wouldn’t buy actual guns from any of them since I nearly exclusively buy pre-owned.

Other than Bud's I can only remember buying guns from Grabagun J&G Sales for online buys.

Guns, I buy a fair number used. New, I generally buy from GT Distributors if they offer a first responder discount on a model I want. Otherwise, I mostly buy from Cabelas. I’m actually looking at Buds now for a model I can’t find anywhere else.

I buy reload supplies from different sources. Cabelas, Midway, and Scheels. Planning an order to RMR now.

I order parts and accessories where they are available and I get the best deal. Lots of places offer discounts and I support them. Same with ammo.

Or "Treats You Like Dirt".
Not disagreeing but FWIW I had a good experience with them when I bought my King Cobra Target.

A fair price and fast service.

Of course, because of the current nonsense, it’s impossible to find what you want online, regardless the reseller.

I almost bought exclusively from Buds, but haven’t recently because they never have what I’m looking for in stock – not that it’s Bud’s fault.

I've used OP a few times. Got better deals there then some places. It's like any other multi retail outlet. You have to window/mac/linux shop.

I use a lot of the same folks: Midway, Buds, Brownells, Greg Cote for magazines -- all with good results.

I've also purchased 1911 and P320 parts from Wilson Combat - the parts are very good, and the service/warranty is top notch too.

I'd add one more: Osage County Guns for Sig-Sauer pistols. Osage County's prices and service during the sale/shipping were great.

I have used Buds many times with no issues what so ever. I used to use midway a lot and optics planet but both of them blew it with lousy CS. Even gave them both 2 strikes... Didn't stick around for a third. CDNN I have done a fare amount of business with no issues. Brownells CS has been fantastic the few times I have had to use them. I've bought from many many others, these are the ones that stand out.

Never had any problem with whichever companies sell the lowest-priced steel-cased .308 and 7.62x39…

…on the Ammoseek ‘search engine’.

I’ve used at least ten different retail companies.

If everybody begins to buy ammo priced higher, only out of loyalty, then what we now identify as the lowest-priced soon gets more expensive.
