.50 AE, any rifle that shoot that round?

Got a load of .50 AE brass and I can’t afford a Desert Eagle right now. Any other gun that shoots a .50 AE?
 
There have been some .50ae uppers made for the AR in the past,
If you don't want to spend time chasing down a used AR upper and don't want to spend $1k+ for a .50ae handgun,
I'd sell the brass. 50ae brass goes for good money.

.50 DE has been my dream gun. I bought the brass here on THR to encourage me to case my dreams. but it’s still $1500 and raising every year
 
Look for a used one. There will be one, very lightly used, Desert Eagle pistol for sale in every state for a good price.
Usually with less than a box through it.;)

If you can find a new one for $1500, snap it up! I paid 1600 for mine 3 years ago. All the prices I’m seeing are around 2k for a new one.

And finally, DO IT! It is my favorite pistol, hands down. Big boomer revolvers are all alike.
There is only one Eagle.:cool:

wish Glock would make a .50 AE upper! lol

So gun broke and I’m in love with all my guns, so I don’t really sell either. Need to make some stock market money
 
Didn’t you have a Beowulf?
An Eagle is a big bill to use brass. Maybe straight trade it for some cases you can use.

50AE is awesome out of a pistol, but 50 Beowulf is just some more awesome in a rifle.

Of course there is always necking it down to 429DE, but that would still need a pistol too.:cool:

I do have a .50 BW!!! LOVE that gun!!!

My DE will have to wait a little bit longer, just bought this, was 50% off and hand engraved

Do you see why I cant save up $1500 … I’m so impulsive. I might get some dies and make some .50 AE ammo???!!!??? why not

what primer and powder you use?

H-110 is my favorite big bore powder, hard to light.

I don’t know what the gun is. The description is, it engraver by a Italian master (or something like that) it a Uberti 1858 Deluxe

that’s all I know, I live cool looking guns

Between 296 and 110, I think 110 produces a bigger flame.

My friends DEagle 50AE would produce a ring of fire 1ft in diameter and about 3ft in length using 110.

Always a crowd pleaser!
 
how does a hot .50 AE compare to a hot .460 magnum?

when I’m stress out, I take the .460, .50 BW, .458 SC with 405g . What Stress?

Love big guns, and yes I’m 5’8” and drive a Prius

Buffalo Bores +p+ .44 magnum load has significantly more muzzle energy than their own.50ae loads, and their .44 magnum +p+ equals the hottest .50ae load info I can find.
Halfway is being generous.

Now, if the .50ae were running at the same pressures as the .454, it would run circles around it. I'll bet a .50ae out of a freedom arms could be worked up into a beast of a load...but why bother with more powerful cartridges available in the same gun.

alright guys, I loaded a .454 into my S&W 460 V 5inch. It kicked but was just OK. My .460 is loaded with 325~ touch under max. Earthquake, Love it! With the comp on that gun, it more bark then anything else.

DE is my Dream gun. I want to carry it IWB, it’s kidda my thing to carry strange guns IWB.

What grain bullets are you guys loaded for the DE? 300?
