5/16 diameter
I would search ebay for a Kentucky BP rifle reloading rod, any 5/16 diameter with ends, the right length would workThanks man, I have no tips or anything so what thread pitch do u recommend when I order
I checked and .35 is closer to 9mm than 5/16. Is this right? Thanks man, I have no tips or anything so what thread pitch do u recommend when I order
Will doCheck with Track of the Wolf. They’re bound to have what you’re looking for
So is it a 5/16 or 9mm? Says that.35 is 9mm not 5/16. Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. A tc hawken rod will go into the guides but is too short if that helpsYea if your not interested in original type, I would get a newer style fiber one from Track of the Wolf, but now you have measurements...
Me thinks 5/16 is like 8.5 mm, , 9 might be slightly large, but most the shops like track sell them by American measure. I think, just pick a 5/16 or 8mm and it will fit, 9 might be to much and scrape the rings that hold itSo is it a 5/16 or 9mm? Says that.35 is 9mm not 5/16. Ok I'll try in the morningI've been wanting a Delrin field rod for my Jukar Kentucky rifles, @Jackrabbit1957 reminded me of this, so I contacted Track of the Wolf to get a custom one made, ill let you know the cost when they respond.
Put a picture of your rifle up so we can see what model it is...would help decipher your ramrod needs

Funnel 5 grns of FFFF powder into the touch hole and fireI got the stuff in but I physically cannot pull the ball that was left in it. I have no idea what to do as I just tried tying the tip of the ramrod to Paracord using a choker knot and tied it to a couch frame. Jerking the gun against the cord did nothing. Put all my weight into it the cord started to rip. What do I do?
I'm not sure if it has powder or not. The gun had been thrown in a saltwater swimming pool by a crazy x wife. I had to use a pick to get the flash hole opened back up from all the rust. If there was powder would have went in the water and I also sprayed penetrateing oil in to prevent rust.Do you know for sure its just a ball with no powder charge? If so you may be able to poke enough powder through the touchhole to shoot it out. Or you can use compressed air which works with a powder charge. Or you can get a CO2 discharger. I've never seen one that couldn't be pulled with a ball jag and a vice. Don't try it if the ramrod tip isn't pinned.
I still haven't been able to find powder. All I have is pyrodex p right now. I might have to wait until I get powder to pull the bullet, but I'd like to get it thoroughly cleaned quickFunnel 5 grns of FFFF powder into the touch hole and fire
