Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

I've been chasing any decently priced Ruger 22/45 *Lite* for almost a year. Any color, didn't matter, as long as it was the Lite. Finally scored this one 2 days ago:
Ruger 2245 (1).jpg Ruger 2245 (2).jpg It's even better in person. Store staff were lining up to get a peek over my shoulder when the sales person brought it out to the counter. Gotta set up a range day soon :)

-jb, maybe not a grail, but a long search

Edit: ... er mods, feel free to move to "What is the last gun that you bought?" thread

This Steiner "Safari Ultrasharp 10x42" will double as my first good quality glass (age 67). My previous binos (no idea which brand my wife had) only focused on one side, and got lost.
Very clear picture with these which surprised me- despite the reviews- and it has only One focus knob.

I don't need a 'spotting scope'. Seldom need one at the gun club,
and this will mostly be for general use. This is Far handier on a hike, or espionage errand :scrutiny:, than carrying around a target scope.

A friend from Germany told me that he also bought whichever Steiner model because the Bundeswehr uses them. "If it is good enough for the Bundeswehr, it is good enough for us".

Those small covers on the end remain attached.
In the viewing end there is a single, long, unattached cover. Two Slings are included: for both the bino and the case.

From Numrichs... Two P85 mags, two sets of grips for a 1911 and P85, a barrel extension for another soon to be started 6.8 AR, some springs and other not really needed stuff... But it was there...

Just a couple boxes of Blazer 9mm ammo.
But, I'm kind of in a corner. I want to support Remington. I've always been a fan of both Remington arms and Remington ammo. Both have always worked for me. But, On the other hand Federal and Blazer ammo has worked for me also. "Plus" I want to support the lower price.
Today Remington 115gr. 9mm fmj was $19.95 for 50 rounds.
Federal 115gr. 9mm fmj for 23.95 for 50 rounds.
Blazer 124gr. 9mm fmj for $19.95 for 50 rounds.
I like using the 124gr. So, I got the Blazer rounds.
So, Now I feel bad for not buying the Federal and especially the Remington ammo.
What happened to just going to buy what you wanted to buy.
The whole world has changed. And, Not for the better.

So the pistol case I bought is too big for the Tomcat but my son needs it for his SD9 VE S&W. There were two price tags. The larger case originally $14.95, covered with $7.95 and with the closeout 30% off, now $5.55. Smaller case originally $12.95, now with closeout $5.55. I went back and got another smaller case for the Kel Tec P32 and notices the gun in the picture on the packaging is the P32. Anyway, now I have cases for ALL my guns.

Now I have to consider they are selling guns for 10% off, not a huge amount but also applies to consignment guns.

5 boxes of winchester .243 ammo at the local gun show (never see any at LGS). $35 a box but still cheaper than buying the components separately and rolling my own with the added bonus of having matched brass when I do reload.
