The forearm looks like a block of wood. Otherwise I like it. However, I still see MSRP $779 Ruger PC 9's at around $600 at the LGS.

$950 MSRP if I heard him correctly on the video. That’s steep.
Agree it would be nice in 45ACP or 10mm for a suppressor host. But 147gr+ loadings subsonic would do as well, and 9mm is cheap to shoot.
I presume this would be a Zamak receiver?
This may get me to try another Henry.
If steel, Im in at around $800, maybe 850.From what I know, the only Henrys with Zamak receivers are rimfire guns. Their centerfire lever guns do not have Zamak receivers, so, I'd guess the Homesteader will follow that centerfire trend.

neat firearms but unfortunately I believe they're little more than vapor wear and have been for quite awhileFor me personally, I'd still go with the Chiappa M1-9mm if I want my fill of a wood-stocked 9mm PCC. And it takes Beretta 92 magazines, which I have more of than Glocks mags.

Whaaaaaat? Where did this come from?
they were kind of pieces of crap with way too little bolt mass that relied way too heavily on a buffer with essentially an expiration date where shooting it with a bad buffer could destroy the gun. Throw in lots of tiny springs and a trigger group that the wrong solvents would melt…firing through a slightly oversized micro groove bbl
