I like to use small revolvers as my pocket carry or as BUG..

A revolver is less apt to lockup as compared to a semi-auto having a FTE or FTF … no such thing as limp wristing with a revolver…. A revolver can be stuffed in a attackers gut and emptied as compared to a semi that will not cycle .. also a revolver can be fired while inside a jacket pocket …

I own 4 pocket carry revolvers
642 , 85NV , LCR327 and a big bore a Charter 44spl Boomer .. which is basically the size of the 642 .. all Bug

How is that 44 boomer, always liked the charter pistols , heard good and bad about them

You know when it goes off for sure .. I shoot ( and carry ) 240gr LSWC Cowboy loads in it .. will punch a .430 hole straight though… recoil is not as bad as you would think ..
I have found at 7 yards I can easily put 5 in target that is chest size target .. heart and lungs .. all the accuracy is needed for its roll .. great for jacket or coat pocket carry .. running to the neighborhood market or walking downtown

The LCR327 is the most shootable.. could easily and at times is my primary… with 327 or 32 H&R
perhaps it is the best small snubbie their is
With six shots of 327 or 32 H&R … or maybe
32 Long LWC’s … really good trigger .. super fast follow up shots with 32 H&R … at times I carry this revolver strong side OWB .. primary.. I have zero reservations with this … 327 recoils similar to 38+P and performs like 357 …
Now you can purchase a Taurus 327 … Im actually considering one … amazing options are available … 32 Short , 32 Long , 32 H&R & 327

My Dad carries an H&R Vest Pocket in his actual vest sometimes. Back in the 70s he worked for a defense contractor who required people on certain projects to be armed when carrying certain documents or prototypes. This was his idea of "armed!"

It actually shoots pretty well for its size. If you're dextrous enough, it is possible to thumb back the hammer for a SA shot.

What grips are those? Is that a K-Frame? Those look a bit sleeker than Target Grips, but longer than Service grips. Don't think I've seen those before.
The Smith & Wesson is a J frame with a square butt. Both wear old Herrett Shooting Ace grips.

642, 25 years I carried that as a BUG. Pocket. Ankle. Inside vest. Only gun I owned I was afraid I’d wear out, from the inside in.

White linen Micarta stocks I made 20 (?) years ago.

Occasionally pocket carried in BDU’s or Cargo shorts, but realistically, too heavy.

In the last couple months I've got two different purpose built AIWB holsters for my Taurus 856(s): the Dark Star Gear Apollo Taurus sells on it's webstore, and a JM Custom AIWB.

Both work really well. Since getting them I really haven't pocket carried.

But, I could. "Special circumstances" and all. Any of they j-frame-ish snubs would work for the purpose.
