I bought a Kahr cw9 Friday on my way home from work and lost it before I even got a chance to fire it.
On the ride home I was wondering about how much static I was going to get for buying another hand gun(better to ask forgiviness thing)I got home she said whats in the case,I handed it to her she pulled it out racked the slide, looked it over,Grabed a holster and shoved it in her waist band.
She looks a me smiles says I love it,you should get one for yourself cause this ones mine. What are ya going to do.
Ten min latter shes on the back yard range shooting. We put 200 rnds white box and 50rnds hollow points, and 25 hand loads through it,not one failliure of any kind and accuracy was suprising, she was even hitting steel at 25 yrds.I warned her we"d probablly have some failliures untill it was broken in but we did not have even one.

Amazing. Your wife can take it out and shoot it without any problems but there are some men on this forum who limp wrist em, causing jams than get on the forum and call them jam-o-matics.

Pat you wife on the back.

Shes come a long ways in the last couple of years as far as her shooting skills go.
Shes been shootting and carring a air weight snubby she shoots a least a 100rnds a week.she thinks the Kahr 9 is a pretty comfy shooter.
Shes also taking a liking to my 1911 other than the weight she loves shooting it.
Hope I dont loose that one two.
Bob.

I dunno. Do you really want a wife that steals your guns?

Look down a couple of threads to nik1923's post. Here's a wife who is anguishing over whether to buy her husband a Glock or a Beretta. Now, there's a keeper!

SwampWolf is on to something. I'm happy for iblong, but man, the hours at the range and days afield are my time, or time with the guys. I spend the remainder of the time with the wife and kids, but w/out 'Me' time, I'd suck-start a shotgun :fire:.

My wife lovingly consents to me spending time on the hobbies, and is cool with gun purchases. And that is good nuff for me! :D

You guys have a point! but Ill keep the one I have shes easy on the eyes and more than this Joe average can usually find.I may loose a fire arm once in a while but if shes happy Im happy if ya know what I mean. She likes to shoot but doesnt like to hunt, never gives me grief about how much time I spend in the woods and I hunt every thing from birds to coyotes. She does however give me grief if I go fishing without her.But Ill keep her just the same.

For a minute, I thought this was a Todd Palin thread. MN, eh?

Kahrs are nice guns. Had my all-steel K9 for 13 years now and can't remember it ever jamming. Accurate too.

I am a bit surprised she just nonchalantly racked the slide. The recoil spring in mine is stiff enough that I'd expect it to be a non-starter as a "girl gun". Strong lady? Better keep her on your side.

Nothing wrong with His 'n Hers Kahrs.

LOL.
Its a bit stiff for her but she manages,I pick mine up on Friday when I finish my side job.Still trying to deceide between the cw9 and the M&P 9 C I love my full size M&P.

She just called me here at work to rub in the fact that Im here and shes there
and just ran another hundred rounds through it, but saved the brass for me to load.

I almost lost my Kahr K9 to my friend after she qualified with it at the CC permit class. My P11 currently resides in her nightstand though.

Bring home a PM9, you may very well get your CW back.

I was totally in love with my CW9 until I picked up a PM9. That is one sweet gun! Sold the CW & put Crimson Trace Laserguard on the PM. The world is near perfect.

Until I discover the next "perfect" gun, of course. ;)

Let's see, my wife has appropriated my Kahr P9, my Russian Makarov, my Keltecs P11 and P32, and my Glock 26. The only thing that kept her from taking my New England Arms .17 HRM was an $800 trip to Cabela's for a CZ American in the same caliber with a Leupold scope.

,

Cayote, you're the first person to mention the Makarov here since I joined up. I have a co-worker friend who used them in Kosovo during the war. He's a Serb. (I don't know which side he was on, lol) Anyways, he swears by it. I don't know the country of origin of the one he used. I've always been fascinated by the Makarov, hoping someday to get one.
What's your opinion on this gun?
Thanks

I know how you feel...my girlfriend took my Ruger LCP from me! What the heck....

You may want to think hard about turning this one into a wife. Or, if you don't see that happening, you may want to start thinking about how to get your pistol back...
