10mm 1911 Pistol questions.
I've been looking into getting a few things done to my RZ-10 and I was hoping I could have some feedback/suggestions. Number one I'd like to pick up a new recoil spring, the one I'm running is a 20# spring and I really don't know how long it's been used since I bought my gun used. Anyone have thoughts or opinions on the EFK's dual springs, the Fire Dragons? The spring is for firing full power 10's.
What's a good bullet to use when reloading 10mm if I'm carrying. I'd want something that wouldn't over penetrate but would greatly expand. Is there a real benefit that Powerball has over hollow point?
What are some ways to reduce recoil? I know a new spring would help, but I don't want to batter the frame too badly due to the springs strength. I've been told a good firing pin stop is a good idea.
New trigger, I like what SVI offers, how it can be swapped out.
I would like to do some basic tuning, any suggestions on where to look first? Obviously a gun smith is a better idea but I'm talking about something very basic.
I'm really looking for any information you can give me here, even if it's an answer to a question I haven't even asked. Thank you guys.
