I want a quality concealed 9mm. I really like the Springfield EMP, but its slightly out of my price range.

Anyone got some good 9mm suggestions? I dont like the XD so much because of how brick like it feels to me.

Most of the non 1911 style 9mms should be well within your price range. Have you tried finding a used gun on the internet auction/sale sites?

I carried a Glock 36 but found I could not conceal it relaibly at all times. Finally ended up with a Kahr PM-9 in a pocket holster.

Is a 1911 colt action type what your experience and training prove best training
Result scores?

Do you want 100% function feeding ignite primers sometimes with that needed second
Hit (rare) but unnecessary risk to your life and family

Go to well stocked dealers and ck out grips in Your Hands and write down facts
1. Grip ergo feel natural
2. Point after getting permission from selling agent in safe direction
And pull trigger cking for smoothness in both single and double
Action at least twice
3. call a range rent their whatever you like till you really like only one at less then 1k
4. get a experience gun fighter to teach you weekly to improve
5. Talk to range staff about spec training offered
6. go buy a used whatever and sleep with it under you pillow for 50 years I should
Of done this but instead owned every mass produced hand gun or close to that
I carry a P7M13
With a Sig 245 as back up
And a hkp2000sk under the pillow
this week lol

What about a non-EMP compact 9mm 1911?

Kimber Ultra Carry or Springfield Ultra Compact for example?

If you like all steel guns that can be carried cocked and locked, check out the CZ-75 compact. They can be had NIB for under $500.

I don't care for the Kahr polymer guns, but that is personal preference. The steel frame guns are excellent and very small.

I vote for a kahr PM9 or a glock 26... depending on how you carry it. PM9 for front pocket or glock 26 if IWB or OWB is your thing.

I like slim guns, especially for cc. My vote goes to the smith and wesson pps or whatever. Although my personal choices are a glock 36 and a smith and wesson snubby.

Good, spend $300.00 on a Kel Tec PF 9 and the other $700.00 on your wife and kids. Life is too short for expensive personal play toys in this economy. That's my advice.

Save a little longer and get what you want. You will not be dissapointed in the EMP.

Budsgunshop.com has the EMP 3" for $1075. Close enough to the K-note max? http://budsgunshop.com
My daily carry weapon is the much cheaper CZ 75D PCR, sometimes I carry a SIG RCS 1911, it has
a commander length slide with an officer size frame I got it for $1029+tax.
