Do yourself a favor look at Kimber Aegis put next to EMP and you decide I thought I wanted EMP when I went to purchase dealer happen to have Aegis for about the same money I compared them side by side, fit and finish even the smooth feel of racking side hands down go to Kimber . Now you don't get extra mag which is BS on Kimbers behalf and cheesy holster that nobody that is serious about carry would use.

I want a quality concealed 9mm. I really like the Springfield EMP, but its slightly out of my price range.

Anyone got some good 9mm suggestions? I dont like the XD so much because of how brick like it feels to me.
Check out some of the CZ 75's . Very nice, shoot great and are in your price range.

DonRon.....Good, spend $300.00 on a Kel Tec PF 9 and the other $700.00 on your wife and kids. Life is too short for expensive personal play toys in this economy. That's my advice.

This is very good advice for everyone, if you have a family or any other financial need.

I've a question about the HK P7s. Are they blowback 9mm? The only one I ever held had an incredibly heavy recoil spring to get it chambered.

Anyhow. If you're determined to spend it all and are willing to look at SA, look also at an old mint Browning HP.

P2000, P2000sk, P30, P7, P7m8, or maybe even a G19 GEN4:rolleyes:. Just talkin shhhh. for all the 'G' guys out there since it wasnt mentioned yet. They are nice. I have one (GEN3). Just prefer a hammer thats all. FNP9, TONS of SIGS. Hell, PF9 aint a bad idea either, with tons of money left over for ammo/range time/classes/whatever. Get out there and handle some/shoot some if able to do so and, decide on that. Not what a bunch of strangers tell you to get from the internet. Although some good advice/point you in the right direction, only you can decide what YOU like. Good luck

S&W M&P 9C. Then you have $500 to kit it out with night sights and/or CT grips, Apex tactical sear, a nice holster and LOTS of ammo.

I'd vote for the Kahr PM9, very light and small. The Rohrbaugh is awesome, but will kill all of that $1k and maybe a little more.
