Holster for 642.

I've carried mine in a Triple K IWB for a few years. Well made and inexpensive. It's held up real well. I don't pocket carry but I think Desantis makes the Nemesis that is well received.

I have a 642, its easily pocketable, I prefer not too. Excellent, everyone THR swears by gold dot short barrel. Thats what I use and practice with.

I use a desantis "cross draw" Sky Cop. Works awesome, when 4 wheeling and sitting down in most any position. Wear it all day forget its there. I paid 70 bux directly from desantis a couple years ago.

for pocket carry i use a Blackhawk size 3 or a Mika round cut pocket holster. depends on what pants i am wearing. both work very well. for inside the waistband appendix carry i use a High Noon Mr. Softy. this holster is excellent in my opinion. it is very minimal yet secure with great retention and an outstanding metal clip that is actually hard to get off the belt. each one of these holsters are under $30.00 but seem much more valuable than their cost. welcome to THR. you should check out the 642 club parts 1,2 &3 on this forum.

For pocket carry: Robert Mika round-cut is the best.

the shipping is very reasonable. mine came out around $30 or so including shipping. you will be very happy with the Mika, he is a great buisnessman who makes an excellent product. he called me after i orderer the holster online to tell me a little about it and what he does. i wouldnt advise putting any gun in your pocket without a holster. you need that trigger covered. it only took a few days to get mine. you can call him or send an e-mail to see what the lead time is. he responds very quickly. great customer service.

I have tried several holsters for both my beloved missing 442 (sold regrettably) and my 642 which I got last year. Self B-day presents are great! I have a custom holster for it, but carry mostly in an Uncle Mikes IWB both pocket and IWB same holster. Most People think you have one of the wallets with the money clip, due to the IWB clip
