I'm looking at the Crossbreed for my 642. I've seen tons of positive reviews of this holster, most all of the reviewers using it with smaller semi-autos like the Glock 19, or Ruger SR9/40c. Past experiences with other, cheaper, IWB holsters for the 642 haven't been great. On top of being unstable, they were very uncomfortable. Just wondering if anybody's used the Supertuck with a j frame, or other small revolver, and what the results were.

IBW just has never worked for me and never tried it with my revolvers. I do use a Crossbreed slide for OWB. I suggest you try to determine just where the cylinder will be held relative to your belt and bones on any IBW setup as well as how much grip purchase the holster will allow. Good luck, I hope it works for you.

I have a super tuck for my 642 and my G36 and P238. It’s a great holster all around.
I generally carry between 2:00 and 3:00. With the 642 it disappears under a T shirt.
It’s so light you could forget it’s there.
