The Daily News poll leaves little to think about. It is written in such a way that pretty much ensures the result. That's the way the DN operates. Their editorial position reflects this angle.

I don't know anything about that site but it looks like a tabloid and it's an awfully loaded poll question. Probably cooked up with the fact that real or imagined public outrage helps sell papers (or get page views) in mind.

I should tivo the rebroadcast to see what Krauthammer says. I started a thread in here some time ago asking about him. I think in most cases he is the most astute commentator in the business. But many years ago, he wrote a column saying that Americans need to grow up and accept more gun laws. I want to see if his tone has changed.

It's been said before... neither the FoxNews poll nor the DN poll means a damn thing. Both questions are designed for their audiences.

Oh well, those who want more gun laws are defenseless morons. They are the ones that are gonna be walked all over when America has it's turn with a Tyrannical government. I wonder if they saw what happened in Nazi Germany or Stalin's Soviet Union. Both leaders saught to take guns from citizens as well.

Polls are not Activism...

I guess I am not seeing the activism and the use of the information.

LOL a Fox News poll and 94% of the votes are not in favor of stricter gun laws.

What a shocker! (Yes I'm being extremely sarcastic here.)

Sure it's great that 31,000 people voted no and only 1,800 people voted yes but it's not like those numbers are going to change the minds of politicians.

I feel like a broken record but I'll say it again. If you want to keep your gun rights then support pro-2A organizations like the NRA and write to elected officials, polls just tell you what you already know.

This is why I hate the polls. Your right they don't mean a thing, if it's a progun outcome. I bet you anything the NY poll will be pointed to in the media as definative proof there is need for more gun control.

Secret hint: you can sit and vote no all day long and the FOXNEWS poll will count your answers...
