How would you conceal carry a 3.5" S&W N frame?

When I carry my 4" 629 concealed, I often just put a vest or long shirt over an OWB holster and go.

However, if I want it to be more deeply concealed, I use a Kydex IWB from Hoffner's called the "Miurage:"

Remember the belt

4" S&W model 28 and 29: pancake thumb snap holster, Beltman 1 3/4" belt, just behind the hip bone, under a jacket or vest. With a gun that heavy, a heavy duty belt is a must.

I've found a Galco Combat Master to be secure, comfortable, and fast to draw from when worn under a blazer or simply shirt left untucked. I wear it at about 4 o'clock - BEHIND the hip bone, to keep it tucked in.

in a pocket holster.
I think that's pretty funny, too. However, Clint Smith did an article in a recent American Handgunner, where he carries his N-frame S&W in a pocket holster.

Does anyone know what Iggy was suggesting above? I have a S&W 627 Pro with a 4" barrel and I'm looking for a OWB holster. Mainly for the range, but also for winter CC/OC. I'd love to find something in Kydex with a positive engagement maybe a OWB version of the Hofner Miurage?

Ah thanks... I guess I gave up clicking through all the options on the Blade-tech website until now, it would be a whole lot nicer if there was a way to pick the gun first and then see your holster options :)

I think, since they have a mold for the model 29, anything they make should be available for that model.

Pick the style of carry you like and then call them. They may not currently catalog it, but they should be able to make if for you.
