I usually carry a Glock 27 .40S&W. It is thin enough, that I carry it in an IWB holster (Galco King Tuk). I just bought a Glock 30 .45acp. It is thicker than the Glock 27 and I have my doubts that it would work well IWB. Do any of you carry a G30 concealed and what have you found to be a comfortable way of doing it? I'm fine for field and range holster for the 30. I just need something for when I carry it concealed.

I have both guns. I use a Crossbreed Supertuck. Works well but you may need slightly larger pants to feel really good.

I had a G30 but wanted a 10mm. Buying the G29SF allowed sharing holsters which saves some money I have Galco Miami Classic II that fits both guns as well.

I wanted to carry the 10mm and the reports of problems with extraction with the conversion barrels made me question this solution's reliability. For range use it seemed ok, but the idea of less than 100% reliability for SD was a deal breaker.

On the plus side, I bought a KKM 10mm to 40 conversion barrel for cheaper range use and a Storm Lake 4.48 inch barrel for G20 like performance. In both guns I use full size mags with A & G mag sleeves for HD use and switch to 10 round mags for carry.

Because I now have both guns, I can put my G30 slide on my G29SF and still shoot 45 with the same gun. Very flexible system.

this link has some bad pictures of my G29SF setup
