My brother traded his brand new XDM Springfield 45 cal. for a Colt Python with a 6" barrel. As I understand this are legendary pistols. About 28 years ago I chose to buy the Smith and Wesson 686 with a 6" barrel instead of the Colt.\
What blew my mind was my brother, he gave me the Python. Those of you who have a Python, do you still shoot it or is it a safe queen collecting value?
My 686 is sweeeeet to shoot but did not collect the same value that the Python did. Just wondering if I should let it collect more value or enjoy the heck out it.
