I'd like yall to convince me on selling a jewel.

I've read all the books... articles... listened to all the podcast's and watched all the youtube videos about 9mm, 40 S&W, .45 acp, 44 mag, 357 mag, .38 special... etc.

I only own two pistols right now. One P2k 9mm and a HK45c. I can afford .45 ammo, and the HK45c has felt recoil like a 9mm... For some reason I'm just not as pleased to shoot it as I am my 9mm... I don't know if it's a mental hang-up or OCD but I just love shooting 9mm's.

So what I'm asking is for yall to convince me that it's a good idea for me to just own handguns that are chambered in 9mm? I'm asking because I'm am on the fence about selling my HK45c (for a P30) and I think I need more sensible convincing before letting this awesome pistol go. Owning 3 HK's is not a option. Money is a concern.
 
It's all good - just do what makes your bells ring . No right or wrong, just different stuff. ;)
 
While it may be an exceptional pistol, I don't know if it is a jewel.

If you are unhappy with it, you should sell it... if you can get a good price for it.
 
There is absolutely nothing wrong with having only one handgun caliber as long as you are happy with said caliber. I say that assuming we mean one caliber in addition to the .22lr, as everyone should have at least one for cheap practice and fun at the range.

The only other thing I would propose is, are you a woods guy and if you are , do you feel comfortable with said caliber in your woods?

Well, I sold my USP 45f. It was reliable and accurate and sturdy and all that but it just didn't suit me. Now my only .45s are 1911 types and the Other Types are 9mm.

......to some, it may be an awesome pistol, but apparently not to you. Man up and accept the fact it does not trip your trigger and send it down the road to a home that will appreciate it more. Folks that need to be convinced by a internet forum to buy or sell a certain gun always befuddles me. Guns, like personalities are an individual thing. Following the masses is not an individual thing. If you can afford only two handguns, the choice is simple. If you like it, keep it, if you don't like it, get something else......sheesh.:banghead:
 
Just sell it. The good thing is, if you change your mind, you can always buy or trade for another one later. It's not a P7M7 after all.
 
I reload one caliber ... 9mm. That's it. Thus far I don't feel at all that my sticking to arguably the most common pistol caliber on the planet has hindered my shooting. 8)

Sell the gun and buy some ammo to celebrate the joys of the 9mm. Or some reloading equipment if you don't already have it.
 
You might even be able to find a straight trade for a P30. BOth are great guns and it really boils down to caliber. You seem to like the 9mm more, so I would suggest getting that. And it will be easier to stock one caliber.
 
You should own handguns chambered in all popular calibers because when the world ends in November you'll never run out of ammo.

It all gets the job done, some people Lincoln Town Cars, other prefer something smaller, some a Ford Fiesta, others a Porsche 911.

Honestly, not every gun fits every person, if they did, everybody would shoot glocks or something, and not every round floats every body's boat, BUT 9 is pretty ubiquitous.
 
If you can't afford to have 3 HK's, then go ahead and trade it for the 9mm. The money you'll save will get you that HK45 back one day, if you miss it.
