Remington Apache Nylon 77 value?

I've g8t a Mohawk Brown model made in 1962 and its a great shooter. Very accurate with iron sights. You can't scope these because the receiver "wiggles" a bit and it won't hold zero....obviously.
 
I saw one in Cabela's awhile back that they were asking 700.00 for it. Last year a guy was telling me he had a 10 C Mohawk. I asked him if he wanted to sell it. He said he wasn't much of a "gun guy" and knew I was and would take care of it so he GAVE it to me. It needed a front sight and clips. I found them in town here at Jack First. Hads the thing gone over by a smith and it's good to go. Probably won't do much with it other then give it to the son some day.
 
They are usually good shooters as built. They are also one of the models that is seeing a steady value increase. Hard to loose money on one, unless it gets abused or broken :)
