How far is Bald Knob from you?

Just north of Bald Knob, just west of Russell (Near hwy 67) is V.E.T.S. Outdoor Range. Really good pistol, rifle, shotgun, etc. I was up there from South of Little Rock to look it over and was impressed. Couple brothers (vets) run it on their and their family's lands. 100 per year if veteran (120 if not) for entire family. Good facilities, good guys. Google V.E.T.S. Range)

Good one at Berryville.

There used to be a public/free range at Weddington in the national forest. It was about 15 or 20 minutes west of Fayetteville.

Ozark Sportsmans Supply in Tontitown has another indoor range, but I don't know how long it is.

There is a private gun club in Fort Smith called the Old Fort Gun Club, but it is a long way to drive just to shoot. They hold USPSA and other matches open to the public.

There is another place a couple of miles from the Old Fort Gun Club called THOR, they go out at least 100 yards and maybe more.

Old Fort has the best facilities of the bunch, Weddington is the closest outdoor range by far (if it is still there).

Old fort is the best. Check out their website for march dates and such. Go down on a match day to check it out. They shoot almost everything except idpa, action pistol, and icore. The main range is down about 2 miles of dirt road. It is usually smooth but can he muddy if it has seen much rain.

here is a list that I dug up the other day. Old Fort in FS is a nice place.(members only though) Just off Hwy 59 between Van Buren and Barling. If you get down that far head on over to Fort Chaffee Outfitters if you are looking for any supplies. Danny and Bob know their stuff and have excellent prices.

Probably not your closet option OP, but the Berryville range is nice and quiet with benches and a birm at 150... Just put 2 bucks in the honor box haha.

If you want long range look up The Arkansas Gun Man. Just north of Berryville and VERY nice. Separate pistol and rifles sides, and the rifle birm is out at 550 yds. $10 per hour
