Best sights for Glock?

I like the Trijicon night sights. They're very bright, have a white outline for daytime, and inexpensive.

Novaks are nice, but look weird on a Glock.

If you do not like the 3 Dot configuration, check out 10-8 Performance and Heinie.

Dawson Precision Fiber optic front with their adjustable rear sight. I have this combo on a Glock 35. Very quick target acquisition.

Anything is better than the Factory Glock sights....I am about to purchase a set as well. I am leaning Heinie at this point for functionability and asthetics...

If it isn't a primary defensive handgun (i.e. a range/competition gun) I would say Dawson Precision as Frankl03 mentioned in post #7, or Sevigny Competition sights with fiber optic front sight.

I have Novak carry sights on my 30, and I like them.
Oh yeah. And on my BHP Novak did the reliability package on.

For our home defense guns (pistols, shotgun and Mini 30) I have lasers for low light and aging eyes. Crimson Trace on the pistols, other brands on the long guns.

Glock

I guess I'm the only person on earth that LIKES standard Glock sights. I think them among the best out there. I've owned many Glock's, still own 3, never a problem of any kind. And I can see them with my old eyes. I read people complain as they are plastic. However, I've never known anyone to actually have any problems at all.

Same with the "plastic" guide guide rod. I have well over 10K rounds through my 3 keeper Glocks and never a problem. Never seen a problem with them (I have seen a problem w/after market steel ones!!). I've watched a video of a Glock fired until it catches fire and the guide rod is flaming, melts and falls out, and the Glock is not hindered at all and keeps firing. In my opinion, if anything is on a Glock it's pretty well engineered, thought out, and will work. A "up graded" or "dicked with" Glock is USUALLY a "lesser" Glock. I avoid them like the plague after having several. I've had Glocks with professionally "slenderized" stippled grips, extended mag release, extended slide release, etc.etc. I never felt any of it an improvement. Just my experience and opinion. Your mileage may vary.

If its a game gun, I loved the warren tactical sevigny sights on mine. The rest of my glocks have ameriglo pro operators. I gravitated towards the proglo front and I would send them my p2000sk and 45c to be prototype weapons just to have them on those guns for carry. Lol

mes228, I'm right there with you.

Nope, you're not alone. I can see a more precise sight picture with the standard sights than with night sights. Also, if it is too dark to see my sights, then it is to dark to ID a target. A flashlight takes care of both problems.

I like the TruGlo TFO's on my G19 and G26!

Sent from my rotary dial phone.

TruGlo TFO for me:

I so wish I could at least put a Truglo TFO front on all my guns. If they just made the rear adjustable it is hands down the best setup!

They are adjustable for windage just like the stock sights are. I got the low set (TG131GT1) and they shoot exactly to point of aim.

I love 'em. I just bought two more sets, one for my wife's G19 and one for my G36.
