What is the last gun that you bought?

I ordered a Yugo M24/47 Mauser via phone from Classic Arms on Monday. They haven't billed my credit card yet, and I hope I won't have to wait too long for them to process the order.

It's my birthday present to myself.

Why haven't you fired it?
[Inigo Montoya]Let me splain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.[/Inigo Montoya] Between a couple dozen things pulling at me from all directions, I simply haven't found the time. I hope to fire it sometime next week.

Newest gun? An absolutely cherry Win. Mod 70 XTR Featherweight (USRAC) in .270. It looked like a one and done rifle with 25 years of closet dust built up on it. Seller threw in a Leupold VX-III 3.5-10 to replace the bound up scope on the rifle. While sighting in, it shot two nickel-sized groups at 100 yds with two different kinds of ammo. Snap shot a button buck for the freezer the next day. I'm no expert, but I've found nothing wrong with my push feed Winchester.

NIB Ruger Mini-14. Ran 100 rounds through it Saturday. Runs like a champ. Never missed the target (only shooting around 50 and 60 yards).

CMP Service Grade M1 Garand. No cosmo on the metal, some wear on the parkerizing. Stock could use some cleaning. Very pleased. :D Gotta find an excuse and some time to get out to the wife's family's ranch to open it up proper.

Mossy 930 spx. What a sweet little auto loader. Sending the barrel off to aimpro to lengthen the forcing cone with a internal barrel polish and cut some threads for a turkey choke. Should be an awesome shooter.

Let the laughter begin!!!

I actually sought out and bought a Sears J.C. Higgins bolt action 12/g shotgun! LOL

The good news is, I only had to give $50 for it. :)

I had one of those as a kid.

Just curious - why did you want it?

My grandfather had one.
When I was big enough, he basically turned me loose with it.
There's no telling how many 1,000's of shells went through it and how much food my grandmother cooked up.
I became very proficient/fast with that bolt action.

The B.S. got to flowing the other day, and I started in with the "when I was a kid...."

So..... (A) I wanted one for old times sake.
(B) I'm wanting to hit the Skeet Field with it as well. I can't wait to hear the "snobs" when I show up and actually shoot a decent round! LOL

They are pretty cool old shotguns. They are tube fed magazines like the 870's & such. They will flip a shell in there as fast as you can cycle the bolt :)

Just picked up four last month. A Winchester m70 extreme weather 338 win mag, FN Five-seveN, glock 36, and sig p238.

I bought a Glock 23 and still breaking it in. I shot my brother-in-laws Kimber last weekend and got gun envy.

I had one in 20-ga when I was a kid; it was originally my mother's. Sadly, it was stolen several years back.

Loadedround, how do you like it compared to other 1911's? I'm doing research right now trying to figure out which one to get for my first 1911

A Ruger SR1911 a month ago. Damn nice pistol!

I love mine so much! I have handled a lot of 1911's and am so amazed it handles better. I have shot a ed brown and it reminded me of my ruger. As for the last gun I bought it was this arsenal slr 107f
