Show us a picture of your reloading bench

I'm jealous of all you loaders that have benches inside. I'm stuck in the garage..in Az.. I reload mostly at night and the early morning hours..

nuccx2001, I really like using the flooring to top the bench. I have a suggestion. build some sides and back using plywood and the same flooring, then put some doors on the front. It will look like a fine piece of furniture and you will keep the dust out. You could also put in some shelves and locks on the doors to have a secure place to store your ammo and components.

Well... My "Flooring favor" is used up.... My full plan is to build a reloading room around the bench in my basement...

Baby Steps..

Here's my reloading bench...

Here's my reloading bench. It's nothing pretty but gets the job done.

Actually, what you see was made completely from scrap lumber. My neighbor down the road added a "bunkhouse" and garage to his property and I was allowed to raid the scrap pile every evening.

Maybe some day I''ll stain or paint it.

I moved to Colorado last September and the house has a huge basement, so I just had to use a spot for reloading. Getting the wood for this was a great deal. I made do with what I could get, and what would make a functional bench. I built the upright piece first and then added the side bench for gun cleaning, the tumbler, and whatever.

Here is my bench out in my hut.
the bench is two layers of 3/4 plywood
glued and screwed, with a masonite top
just screwed so i can replace it.
Also the walls have 3/4 plywood all the way
around so I can attach any place.

condo living, have to get crafty. Black and Decker unit from Lowes, added some 2x4s to the back for bracing and some casters so I can move it around. It fits all my stuff perfectly.

Because of LACK of room I have 4 presses not set up and I ended up getting a RCBS Rock Chrusher II the other day... She just shook her head and called me crazy as she walked by the stacked boxes...lol

Love that woman!!:neener:

Well here is the cramped mess... there is another Hornady LNL single stage under the bench sitting on top in the corner of the winchester wads... And a Forster press also under there still...

Sorry for the crappy cell phone photos...:cuss:

I'm also stuck reloading in the garage in AZ. Mostly at night and it's still hot. I got an idea from another user to build a bench on wheels. So when I have time I'm going to build myself a custom bench on wheels that fits through doorways so I can bring it inside an then back in the garage.
