A link to save space...reloading tables

This is my second bench. I am not a very good carpenter, and this bench isn't quite as good as my first one, but this one is a bit more 'presentable'.

My next bench will be nice, even if I have to be-friend a real carpenter to build it for me!

Here's a picture of my setup.. Brand new to reloading so I'm still playing around with the layout of the bench...

The two carriage bolts on the left side are for a rock chucker. Picked up the akro-bins and rack from the local tire supply guy ($30 for the whole setup, not to bad I didn't think).

I plan on builidng an identical bench, but about 3x's longer (this one is 4ft wide) and use this one for cleaing / maintenance / etc.

Middle of my living room in my one bedroom apartment. Can you guess that I'm a single guy? :p

Mike Irwin- you don't know how hard I laughed when I read your post. If anyone saw what I turned into a reloading bench they'd probable fall off their chair.

I'm using an old fish tank stand that my brother built. I didn't have any fish at the time and just bolted my Lee and Dillon presses to it.

This is all based on a ''tired'' ol sideboard ......... and is same way currently ... despite being put together after a move as somewhat ''temporary'' ....... Ha! Trouble is if something works, the ''temporary'' status tends to go out the window!

There are a few other odd bits outa shot but this is the main portion.

:D

Just a little corner of the pantry with all the doors opened up! That is a Pacific press on the right hand side that got cropped out. The bottom is filled with powders, a tumbler/media, sandbags, and big boxes of lead bullets plus brass!

As mentioned earlier tho Cowboy ..... once the link that shows for your pic is available in your initial post bring up the pic in a browser yourself - and then copy the URL for it from that browser .... go back to the post and insert that URL between IMG tags .. it should then show directly once you save the edoted post... it is in fact being ''hosted'' by this site's server once you have uploaded it.

WAY cool, gentlemen! Thanks, yzguy, for directing me to this thread. Jeeper, that is too much. Those are pocket doors, aren't they? Excellent ideas here (he said as he printed off the thread and grabbed his sketch-pad).

I LOVE those fold out doors that come out to hide everything that Jeeper posted..... :)

THANK YOU

Appreciate the pics; may learn something new.

My shop is 7ft wide and 19ft long; full. No pics, too much proprietary experimentation going on.
Yeah right.
Pigsty.

HANDGUN ONLY
(I can say there are over 75 different handgun bullets within arm's reach. Two benches, master bench carpeted. Two cleaners. Shelves lining walls. Four mounted presses. Over 50 die sets. Sixteen powder measures, but only one scale. Lotsa powder -- imagine insurance agent's face LOL. AA2, AA2Imp, AA5, AA7, AA9, Nitro 100, 700X, 800X, Bullseye, W231, WSL, Unique, Universal Clays, Power Pistol, HS6, WAP, 3N37, Longshot, Blue Dot, 2400, N110, W296, H110, and maybe some others. Everybody's primers. And cases, oh I got cases = 9x19, 9x21, 38 Special, 357/41/44 Mag, 44 Special, 400 Cor-Bon, 40 S&W, 10mm, 41 AE, 45 ACP, 45 Colt, and 38 Super. I think.)

And maybe some other stuff. Like ashtrays. And one half of a shelf wall devoted to load data; paper.

WESHOOT2:

Of all the people to post on this thread and omit photos... You must be in fear of your insurance agent, or maybe all of your equipment is "FRENCH". Ya, that's gotta be it!:cuss:

Xl650 on the left. (10 different die setups in the dk brown cabinet)

SL900 in the center.

Cleaning/Workbench on the right just out of the picture.

It's not much but I call it home!!! :D :D :D

Here's my little bench.

Redding turret press on the right, Redding small pistol powder measure on the left. Up in the top left corner of the photo, out of focus, is my Redding scale on the shelves at eye level, so I don't have to bend over to work it.

Visible on a low table to the lower left is my PACT chronograph, which I consider part of my loading set-up.

The bench is set up so I can work comforably standing up. It is in the basement, bolted to the wall on the right side and the back -- very solid.

Finally, a bench that works well and that I am happy to show off, though it is a mess currently.

Cost me $6 for the bench and $5 for the chair, my work was having a donation sale of stuff from a cleared out building area.

Too bad it is Dillon Blue and I have Lee stuff, would have been a cool match!

And it has wheels to boot, I can move it out of the way when not loading.

This was the second bench I tried, the first one was a folding one that didn't work too well since the center of gravity was too much to the side without strong mounts to lift it above the center like Carlos has. This second one went back to the store, not flat, and it needed help to prevent from tipping. Though it worked okay for about 200 rounds, I knew I couldn't live with it.
