You'd have to ask questions before you bought, i.e. -Does it come off the display stand for actual use as a bag? ect. ...
But, here you go, A possibles bag made out of -get this- A bull's scrotum , Hah! (damn that things big).

Seriously, check out the photo of it in use on it's included oak/wrought iron display stand.

and to promote sales (and get them out of the warehouse!) they sent me an email link that offers my a $20 discount for being a member and accepting the promotional messages. Thanks guys.

Now please understand, I don't work for this company, nor do I promote whatever actions are deemed necessary to provide the masses with access to these (ahem) wonderful -albiet unusual- products, I just suspect that bringing this sort of thing to the notice of our distinguished membership will help the availability of such dwindle to the point that I'm no longer finding reference to such (gulp!) low-hanging fruit (Hah!) as this.

Actualy, not an unusual item unknwn.
I saw them 30 years ago in tourist stores in Texas as ladies hand bags.
Also, it was common practice for someone to use the scrotum off a number o' different critters as bp ball bags.I kind o' wish i'd o' made one from a deer sack back when i was still huntin'.
Mmmm...maybe i'll ask a freind to give me one this year and i'll do just that.;)

When the bull's scrotum is stretched out and treated, it can become a large bag. Why someone would want one of these unless there into Colonial Era stuff, I don't know.

It's a great idea for a possibles bag that would be seamless and moisture resistant.

It's the same skin as the rest of the animal.
Waste not want not.
At over $35 I would settle for a leather one with seams. That's a ridiculous price PLUS shipping.

Folks have been tanning animal scrotums and using them for utility bags for a very long time. Saves a lot of stitching!

The other day at the feed store they had bull... well... reproductive organs for sale as dog toys. They were about 3 feet long and were like rawhide. I was chatting with my friend who works there, he told me that he and the boss had a sword fight earlier that day... no comment.

So far as those walking sticks are concerned, they carry them too. That caught my eye with one of those "....who bought this also added this to thier cart..." thumbnails.
I just can't figure myself wandering around with something like that and using it as fodder for conversation.
The thing that really turned my head when I first saw these was how they went so far as to display it as a candy dish. Now who's house could that possibly be occuring at? I wonder.

Back about 1970 or so, my dad owned 1/2 interest in a big Hereford bull that he had bought from John Wayne's ranch in (iirc) New Mexico. Anyway....I remember that one day I shot him in the scrotum with my Daisey lever action BBgun.

......Sometimes child abuse is justified.

kbbailey - you're lucky to have survived, especially if that bull was a breeder.

You shot a Hereford bull right in the sack with a BB gun?:scrutiny:
Man if I had a kid and he did that, I'd really make sure he didn't do that again. Bulls can be pretty dangerous if they're angry.

Many years ago my best friend and I were shooting a potato gun out into a field where the cows were hanging out. Her dad came over and sent a couple spuds downrange, he smacked a big ol' red and white bull right between the eyes and the thing looked like he wanted to kill someone.
Luckily we were about 75 yards away behind a big steel fence! :D

I was in a western style store in NH the other day. They had some pretty cool curved and twisted walking sticks. I read the label: "Made from the reproductive organ of a bull."
So, you can get a matched pair...

My father told me that in Greece, people would use those to hit their children when they misbehaved. Oh, how times have changed.

I'd rather take my mom's hickory switch over a dried bull's member any day. Something about punishing your kids with a bull's reproductive organs just seems kinda... well... wrong to say the least.
Not to mention it looks like it would hurt more than a piece of hickory.

I wonder if could find a ballistic use for these. You could get a band saw and cut a bunch of little pieces. Then you could load them into a 12 gauge shell over 8.5 grains of Titewad and use it for riot/animal control. A slug made from bull's member probably wouldn't have the inertia to kill someone at moderate ranges, it would probably be a good less than lethal projectile.

All I have to say is What...The...Fuleggnog?! I understand waste not want not but that just plain makes me laugh.

YumaKid, me too. Perhaps one of these bull bags would be useful for serving rocky mountain oysters! :D

Man, I can't think about what the proposal for such a product looked like.

"Hey boss, I bet we could sell bull scrotums and people would buy em' for $50!"
"That... is the coolest idea I have ever heard. You get a promotion and here's some candy canes!" :p
