I've purchased this locally and I can't seem to find it anywhere on the net, I'm looking for vendors not private sales.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Unfortunately I think you just might be right. Clinton destroyed the M14's and Obama refused to allow the M1 Carbines to come home. I could see him destroying the old ammo rather than allow it to be sold for components. He hates us and will do anything to make us miserable. And, I doubt there will be any more pulldown components of any type in the future. The "good old days" of cheap surplus components are gone, I'm afraid.
I personally don't think that has much to do with it. With the withdrawal of troops from the Middle East the companies that make ammo for the military have slowed down production. Lake City a few months ago was trying to get a large portion of their staff to take early retirements. I haven't seen any updates on that but a company the size of ATK tends to get their way. They simply aren't producing as much as they were 5-8 years ago at the peak of the conflicts. Much of what gets released from them to the civilian market was simply either gov contract over-runs or stuff that didn't meet gov specs. Since they aren't producing as much there will be fewer over-runs and rejects. The ammo that's already over there will most likely stay there or might be brought back and kept in armories so they don't have to buy more. But I agree, I think he hates gun owners with a passion. But I don't think he has to lift a finger to put a thorn in our side this time.Unfortunately I think you just might be right.
