Dear THR:
Like the subject line says who is 'The Glock Man' of THR? There is only one criteria- MOST number of Glocks CURRENTLY owned.

Show pics [if you would like to share your collection], please.

I wonder if there is anyone on THR who has each and every model of Glock ever made.

Thanks.

I for one am not the glock man. I have 1. A 20sf. I like it very much, but find the M&P a little better for my hand. I have 4 of those....

I just joined the glock group around a month ago with my purchase of a gen 4 glock 23, and I love it!

Dear lord, why would I ever admit to the quantity of firearms owned on a public forum, much less post pics?

IMO, I have not enough Glocks.

No Glocks here. They are ugly and smell bad. Besides I lost everything in that boating accident.

Some of your questions are rather random and strange.
You can usually get full or partial credit for any el Godfather question by answering it with H&K USP.

Strange and random, but I find them interesting. USP has got nothing to do with it unless you praise it!

Seriously, USP is not an answer to every problem. I like my Glocks as well, just not as much these days.

I decided to stop responding to nonsensical threads, yet, here I am, responding to a nonsensical thread.

I never drank the kool-aid regarding Glocks and don't own a single one.

I drank a little of it but it had a bitter sweet taste. I had an early 17L, a 17, 26, 23, 19, and 20 OD.

Sold them all and am Glock free! :) Only plastic in the house is two little Kel-Tec pocket guns.

el Godfather, seems like you poked the bear a bit here. I don't know why so many guys are offended or put off by your threads...and still need to participate??? FWIW, I like most of the threads you start. They may be hypothetical, but this is the internet, nothing here is verified. Some really good conversations have come out of these threads...so keep going until the mods shut you down, if it's your thing. Also, you seem to have an awesome collection, don't hesitate to share more of it with us.

No Glocks for me, yet. They really don't do much for me. I get it, they work, but I don't have any use for a pistol that doesn't pique my interest the way other designs do. If I needed a duty gun, I'd probably have a couple.

TL;DR: None yet.

Note to THR members: Participation in every thread is not required.

I think some people have noticed a pattern, and just elected to make that observed pattern known in this thread.

THR is a great resource, and many come here for honest answers to honest questions.

Like other gun boards... it can also be a place where people troll for responses. Maybe out of boredom, maybe just for the "sport" of trolling, maybe an 'anti' trying to make some point. Or maybe fishing to set somebody up for theft or worse.

I'm not exactly saying el Godfather is specifically doing any of these things. That being said, it is a very peculiar question to ask of the board. Why would somebody care who has the most Glocks on THR, or if somebody here has one of each model?? How would the board at large know that?

He has asked other questions recently - maybe not quite as peculiar, but still strange. Obviously others have noticed it also. One strange question, and then precious little feedback if any. "Drive by" random postings, if you will. Just posting to be posting, apparently.

So at least speaking for myself, that's why I responded the way I did this time (I have provided sincere responses to him in the past). I don't see anything wrong the the board kind of self-policing itself this way. It just puts people on notice that while this board is a great resource, it's not exactly a hivemind of gun knowledge to just ask any ol' kooky thing your heart desires - even if not exactly ban-worthy. Nobody said anything out of line to el Godfather, as far as I can tell. And if anybody wants to oblige or engage el Godfather's question(s), then by all means feel free. Just saying that people aren't just randomly giving this one thread and OP a hard time for absolutely no reason.

I have a Glock 23 with 9mm and 357 sig barrels. I like it fine; not sure if I'd want another one since Glocks all look the same and I like shooting different brands :)

I too am a little surprised el Godfather initiated a thread sans HK pistols. However, no Glocks whatsoever under my roof, in my car, or buried in a bunker. The only Glock I may ever own is a 20 (I said may! I'm looking at other 10mm pistols for such a purchase.

tubeshooter, I wasn't calling anyone's responses "out of line" and I really don't think el Godfather (with over 1200 posts) is trolling either. Just seems like a guy who enjoys talking about guns...

I just think it's funny how people post about not wanting to post on certain threads... The conversation (which will either continue or die-off) does not hinge on every member's participation, nor is it improved by people pointing out that it's not the most thought-provoking or useful thread in THR's history.

I responded because I'm actually curious to see if anyone has amassed enough of the soul-less tupperware wonderguns (and I mean that in the nicest way:evil:) to the level where it would be considered a collection.

Hickok45!

OK, I don't know if he's a member here - I know he is at TFL - but if he were, I bet he'd be the winner!

Currently at 11 Glocks. 17L, 19, 21, 21SF, 23 (x2), 26, 30, 30SF, 34, 36. All Gen3 guns.

They are usually in tight supply in CA, so I bought what I could when I could. Didn't own any until about two years ago, when I decided to give up my long-standing prejudice against them and give them (and polymer-framed pistols in general) a fair tryout. One thing about them - I can shoot them as much as I want and still get most/all of my purchase price back when I sell them.
